Re: Rival Watch

Yep. That’s actually one ground and place I can remember nothing about at all. Only remember an I really feeling of it being pretty rubbish. Something nagging in my brain that it was absolutely freezing when I went as well Away end had wooden terracing  The old Northampton ground (part of cr...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (h) sponsored by just do it!

Sounds like Elphick is back for this (on the bench I expect). Slight chance Mendes might be on the bench, but reckon it will be Smith and Yann as the back up strikers. Harriott and McShane def out.

Re: Building for next season

some interesting comments from Ilori in the press conference: 'It's not just about the quality you have. The work rate has to be there as well. Football is a complete sport, it's not just talent and skill.' 'There wasn't a particular game when things went wrong. Sometimes I felt we didn't work as ha...

Re: Anyone Nervous?

Surprising that Jonathan Low is still referring us being involved in a relegation battle. It would now take an awful lot of results to go against us for us to go down now. a defeat for us, and wins for Bolton and Barnsley on Saturday would make it very nervous final day again. Of those three, defea...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Just watched the goals from the 3-1 win. All nice finishes from Smith. Suspect he’ll be on the bench ahead of useless Martin on Saturday

Re: Anyone Nervous?

I’m looking forward to all of those true believers who said we would not be involved in a relegation battle, there was no way we’d be anywhere near it or you’d need to be a fool to think the way the season was going we’d be in any sort of trouble coming on gloating. We managed to be skirting the ed...

Re: Rival Watch

Luton as a place was the worst I have been. Proper rough and utterly charmless. Followed by Rotherham Didn’t mind Burnley too much - stadium has a bit of charm. Found it pretty similar to all those other identikit northern places round there Colchester's old Layer Road ground was an absolute hole i...

Re: Rival Watch

I hope Southampton come down from the Prem. At the moment it looks like there are bugger all decent away days if Fulham and Villa go up, and Wigan and Blackburn coming up to the Champ True - the division is becoming ever more northern. Stoke and West Brom aren't exactly great locations, though the ...

Actually quite looking forward to Saturday now. Have a good feeling we'll get the win to confirm we stay up, and hopefully get a bit of an atmosphere etc to go with it.

Re: Relegation Watch

If we let that penalty in we conceded in the last minute and Barnsley didn't let a last min goal in at brizzle, we would be level with them on 40 points right now and in real danger..... What IF? . what does it matter?. it didnt happen. God you are always so negative! I was highlighting how...

Re: Saturday

Apart from the two home wins that have secured our safety? Our points per game under Clement is marginally high than under Stam. Do you think we have played any better in our last six games? He isn't here to make us play better. He is here to save us from relegation. exactly that. I think we have b...

Re: Saturday

I don't think PC has done a lot wrong tbh. Team selections look right generally, same with the subs. Tweaks defensively have helped.

We've just continued to play a bit shit. To actually come out with 7 points from the performances has been pretty impressive

Re: Relegation Watch

Fulltime Forest 3 Barnsley 0 Lovely stuff. Win on Saturday and it's job done. Was anyway wasn’t it? But realistically cannot see Barnsley getting 6/6 and Bolton 4/6 or Burton 6/6 Not mathematically, it would've depended on Bolton's result on Saturday, if Barnsley had won tonight. I want it to be 10...

Re: Relegation Watch

3-0 Forest. And that last goal made them look a thoroughly broken team. Don’t believe for a minute they are capable of 6 points from their last 2
