Wouldn’t say yet. A loan would do him good. Think he has it in him to make it as a pro though

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

His starting position was generally on the wing, but was often making runs in behind the CBS Agree was a thoroughly enjoyable game. Obvs don’t want to pollute this thread about passing styles etc, but as shown when done well it’s great to watch. Barrett has something about him certainly. Osho looked...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Dragged my backside down for the second half. Quite a good crowd and atmosphere considering

Playing pretty well imo, quite entertaining. Couple of nice assists for Popa

Re: In or Out?

In retrospect so am I

But when it was brought up on the rumours thread it was hardly greeted with enthusiasm. By the time we got round to looking suspect he was long gone anyway

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Watching. Might wander down for the second half if I can be arsed

Popa looks lively- good assist that. Jaap should have used him more - would rather see him as #9 than Beerens if we have to go down that route

Re: In or Out?

Dutch football is out of date. No surprise to see Dutch Managers being sacked. Can't be a coincidence. The Dutch Managers have had enough time to make things right. Stam needs to wake up and smell the roses or rather Tulips. Chinese seem to have given him the funds and backing. So the owners are ok...

Re: In or Out?

Interesting comment I picked up on GR. could so easily be talking about us. Interesting reading the predominant reason given today for Koeman's departure from Everton. He managed to sign several players for the same position but not a striker that was badly needed. Is it a failing for ex defenders?...

Re: Reading v Boro Predictions Thread

This is a tough one to call, I'm on the fence for now, if we start with a striker and Swift I think I'll be predicting a win. One thing to consider is Boro have to make the trip to Bournemouth on Tuesday whereas we have all week to prepare. yeah this. They are also on sh!t form as well. big game th...

no surprise. Watched a bit of them yesterday, they were shockingly bad. No way back from that sort of performance

Re: Reading v Boro Predictions Thread

completely depends on who we have fit imo. Will wait until later in the week to see if Yann/Dadi are available

Reckon if we win, Monk will be under far more pressure than Stam is.

Re: Sheffield Utd - Back from the game

fair points with Smith. But sounds like the 2 subs he did make (excluding McShane as not really sure why he bothered with that) actually made us look a lot better.

Re: In or Out?

The 22-year-old said: "The last thing any players want to have here is a change of manager, that would be the worst decision. "He's a good guy and we're trying to do the same thing as last season and really push on and create chances in the same way as we did last year. "Hopefully th...

Re: In or Out?

Agree with that BR2. Need to get Swift back in there, and I'd rather see Kelly than Edwards. Get those boys back in there and on the ball feeding it to Barrow and Aluko who are playing properly on the wing, feeding Yann/Dadi at #9. Its an obvious one for me

Re: Sheffield Utd - Back from the game

The thing I cant get my head around is the fact we put out a defensive lineup last week which managed a clean sheet, something we have struggled to do all season, and he's then decided to change it again? I still think Stam can turn this around but some of his decisions are baffling. yep this total...

Re: Sheffield Utd - Back from the game

Roll on the January transfer window. Even temporary loan signings would fill the gaps in what is a threadbare squad in certain playing positions. I don't think we can wait till then tbh Yann and Dadi have to get fit and stay fit or we will struggle to win any games imo. But I think if they are fit ...

Re: Sheffield Utd - Back from the game

Yeah that’s my viewpoint. If Dadi had been fit but dropped again I’d have been absolutely fuming with him, but I don’t think he had that much choice against Sheff Utd Obvs there are things he could have done - inc giving Smith some minutes - but it wasn’t an obvious fcuk up like he did in dropping D...

Re: In or Out?

His dutch mate Koeman looks like he won't survive. Just shows, you can have what looks like a great team on paper but put a dutch system in place, the opposition puts a high press in and your f#cked and ineffective. He will change nothing next week and it will be the same old sh+t. De Boer and the ...
