Obvs not so easy when you have some gimps sitting next to you with STs like I did last year.

Yeah sorry about that Hound.

no worries. As long as you've moved seat this year

Brentford away would be great for me. could walk down after work

otherwise any home game is fine. don't really care that much, but do like an evening game

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Liked the C5 highlights

Though barely ever watched them being as we were so desperate last year

And don’t think you can record red button. Possibly with the Q boxes - will give it a go

He looked good didn't he? Different sort of player to what I was expecting - has a great touch and decent passer. Had him down as just a poacher. That pass to Meite for the goal was obscenely good on what I think is his weaker foot

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h) sponsored by Notlob is Bolton backwards

Tough to pick a team for this. Do you go McNulty and Baldock again up front? Showed promise but against a poor side. And that means dropping Bod who has done ok in the first couple of games I don't think I'd want to see Kelly back in over Swift, or Bacuna tbh. Presumably Meyler will come back in. Wh...

Re: Hammond

I think that’s pretty harsh on BT tbh. He has got in some good players Meite, Moore, Barrow, Swift for example, and some solid ones as well Unfortunately the Aluko atrocity will forever cast a shadow, but we obvs don’t know who really pushed for that one Did see something along the lines of him tak...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

They made a lot of changes, but apparently 4 of their players were new signings, so presumably not signed to play in the reserves.

But they did look very poor on the whole.

Re: BFTG Birmingham

thought it was all light hearted and reasonably well intentioned thing I took from it is that the crowd were actually enjoying themselves, which has been far to rare over the few years. Of course there was a bit of pi$s taking involved in the cheering, but O'Shea seemed to take it well. Sure he has ...

Re: Hammond

its obviously not clear who exactly does what. The long contracts that have been handed out to some of the players where they maybe shouldn't have been (Yann, Joey particularly) seem to have been more RG than BT Wouldn't say the recruitment or the amounts paid have been particularly poor, excepting ...

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

Possible hammy for Barrow tonight, that will be a huge blow. Meite off near the end, not sure about that one. seriously short of wide players as it stands. I heard Popa was quite close to fitness. was disappointed Popa didnt at least make the bench last night. Would have been an ok replacement for ...

Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

I like Ilori as a player but he shows zero leadership skills. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard him on the pitch. Moore was vocal and helping the back 4 last night. He is clearly the best captain at the club. Need to get over the transfer request nonsense. Whilst he is here, need to make best u...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

It was games like last night that I first took my kids to to get them interested, when it was a bit more relaxed and a bit more space for them to mess about in if needed. We'd probably have been the annoying family 2 years back. Now we are season ticket holders, and the kids watch every minute of th...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

It’s games like last night that show How desperately poor we had become last year. Was a genuine pleasure to watch the full backs bomb forward, the forwards causing problems and pressing, Swift running his backside off for 90m and some fast attacking play. The whole atmosphere in the crowd was much ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by dull cup draws r us

Meite wasn’t injured I don’t think Good game, enjoyable and ultimately comfortable. Great goals, esp from Swift Forwards were live wires but should have probably netted at least one each. Worked well together though and a reminder of how horrifically stodgy we’d become last season Little harsh to pi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by dull cup draws r us

Lolz at Barrow being injured after the earlier chat. Actually not lolz at all :( Takes away from a decent half. We’ve been good - entertaining, enterprising and been all over Brum really. The forwards have worked well together , Baldock particularly good Just been not quite there on a few final ball...
