Re: BFTG Millwall Home

Which is why you need Eza in there. Big lump who can dominate

Re: Swift and #10. Wouldn’t have him tracking back as long as he is pressing when they have possession. Big ask to do both

did see one of the points in JLow's 'things you might have missed' was that Garath McCleary played on Saturday.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h) sponsored by Terry Hurlock

Thought Jaakkola did more to earn the no 1 shirt than either of the other two so far this season. Personally don’t think he’s a bad keeper, he’s a good shot stopper and also we know can save a penalty or three. Think his distribution needs work but generally I don’t think he’s any worse that Mannon...

Re: BFTG Millwall Home

Swift is a decent player, but benefits massively from having Eza sitting in behind him Eza, Bacuna and Swift is a good midfield at this level and will win us games. The problem is Kelly and Meyler aren't currently up to the standard required. Kelly is ok as cover for Swift/Bacuna but would not want ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a) sponsored by Nigel Adkins last game

Be just about the team I would pick. Certainly keep the back 4. I don't like Bacuna/Swift/Kelly and think I'd rather see Meyler in for Kelly, but could understand keeping team as is. I'd be pretty confident if the big Iranian lad was fit, he really is a huge part of making our midfield work. Same fr...

Re: BFTG Millwall Home

PC confirmed that Barrow was dropped, not injured. Only a matter of time to Aluko next surely? I’m a fan of McCleary’s. he has a football brain the other wingers don’t seem to have, a bit more physique and an ability to defend. Would be delighted if he still has the form of 18 months ago in him sti...

Re: BFTG Millwall Home

How did McCleary look?

SS highlights make the penalty look 100% nailed on. Rubbish challenge. Did it look different from another angle?

SS highlights suggest the penalty was nailed on. Dreadful challenge and didn’t get the ball

Missing Bod and Eza as well today. Arguably 2 of our best players

Even better no Aluko :)

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h) sponsored by Terry Hurlock

Goalscoring isn’t a problem generally

Bod on 7, Baldock on 4, Meite on 4. That’s pretty decent

Lack of clean sheets is still a worry but that’s a massive 3 points

3-1

Doesn’t sound massively deserved but fcuk it. 3 points. Give Meite another year on his contract. Good lad, delighted for him

Another good result. This is where hope must be for the future.

Keep up the good work, lads!

You’d hope so. U23s up to 3rd again and couple of lads there looking pretty strong
