Re: Rival Watch

Good set of results for us really, stay 3rd bottom Ipswich look terrible and would be suprised if they don’t have a relegation battle on their hands Brentford put in a bizarrely dreadful 2nd half. Their two subs came on and put on proper 1/10 performances - awful. They look very dodgy from set piece...

Re: Rival Watch

Hmm Brentford a right mess this half, esp from set pieces - absolutely fallen to bits

Be lucky to escape with a draw

Re: Rival Watch

Yeah it’s a bit of a weird one isn’t it? Quite like it for the rubbish away games like Blackburn where I’ve been able to watch whereas normally I wouldn’t - but would almost rather the home ones weren’t on tv But I suppose as pretty much everything regarding Sky’s EFL it’s for the ‘big’ clubs really

Re: Rival Watch

Preston and Ipswich both losing - would take that tonight

Watching the Ipswich game - they look pretty useless. Brentford decent but we knew that

Yeah think it’s to balance out the games

Shame as I can’t make tomorrow, but would have fitted in nicely tonight

increasing new jobs in the area/Reading

I suppose it depends on if those new houses were going to be built somewhere else anyway

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a) sponsored by the season starts here

for the first goal, that was never a foul in a million years. Awful play from the #12, leaned into Swift, bent over and then stopped still looking at the ref.

Kind of thing I've come to expect of Aluko or Gunter on a particularly poor day

Re: BFTG - Preston

Why do you say we look a team destined for relegation and then say Clement will get it right and we will stay up?

Which is it?

Re: BFTG - Preston

Yep, and tbf to the evidence of our own eyes, he wasn’t particularly good against us that season for Fulham either. In fact he was pretty dreadful in the play off games, esp the home one

Re: Clement

I feel we really needed to have won the Blackburn game, 2 up away from home and largely in control, that was a game where had we seen it out would have given the team a huge lift. The result and the nature of how it happened was a large kick in the teeth... Boy do we need an ugly win or two.... The...

Re: BFTG - Preston

For whatever reason, he suited Fulham's side a lot better than ours. It might have been because they had better fullbacks, or moved the ball a bit quicker What I can't accept from him is the lack of effort or awareness. The losing the ball, and then just standing there watching. Which is why I'd hap...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

Gunter will stay in I expect. All I want from him is 6/10 performances until Obita is back, shouldn't really be too much to ask Aluko will prob stay in unfortunately, though Sims' case is getting louder by the week. Its a tough one, didnt especially like the team we put out, but obvs you don't massi...

Re: BFTG - Preston

He could potentially play as a 10 behind Bod, but would have thought McNulty and Baldock are both ahead of him there, Swift as well Whilst we have an abundance of wingers, none are ever fit. I suspect PC considered starting Sims ahead of him Saturday and think he will consider it again this weeks Ba...

Re: BFTG - Preston

Does sound that way. Think statistically that’s about our worst performance comparing shots on target etc this season

Still did what we had to do and a massive 3 points. Another defeat and we’d be looking cut off already. Big week ahead

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a) sponsored by the season starts here

Just from the highlights, couple of nice bits of play by Swift I don’t mind him and Bacuna in the middle - have a bit of dynamism and creativity about them. Be interested to see how Kelly played Lovely bit of play by Sims on the third - laid it on a plate. That bit of play by their #12 on their firs...
