Re: In or Out? New poll.

yep fair point about Stam's rep. Currently his CV reads got a team into play offs and left them in lower mid table. If the latter changed to relegation thats a huge stain on it

there is no argument about nobody else being available. There are plenty who could do the job short or long term

Re: In or Out? New poll.

Re: BFTG Brentford

he is literally our only attacking threat in virtually every game I watch. Latterly helped out a bit with Gunter deciding to get forward

He is miles better than Aluko

I'd hope so, he'd be a useless footballer otherwise

Would still run more than Aluko etc etc....

Re: Who could replace Stam?

I don’t believe Hughton is about to be sacked

But would be a great option if so

Re: In or Out? New poll.

Lose in the cup as we probably will, then lose to Burton you’d think that would be that

Who knows though. Transfer window will be done pretty much by then.

Re: In or Out? New poll.

And how many League points did we get and how many goals did we score? 21 points, and we've scored more (22) than we've conceded (20) Not bad....if you can keep a clean sheet and win all you games 1-0..... We did have 7 goals in 2 games though...... Problem is we were useless before that as well. T...

Re: In or Out? New poll.

yeah agree Denver. A large percentage of the clubs in the two divisions have foreign owners, often who aren't 'visible'. There's a healthy percentage of foreign managers who have had no connection to the club previously as well. Its the way football is currently. I don't love the fact, but its the ...

Re: In or Out? New poll.

Interesting comments from Liam Moore on JLows gig whatever it is called nowadays. Actually completely nails it very simply, and to me, this is pretty damning of our tactics. "I'm not sure what's changed this season, the results are disappointing compared to last season," said the 24-year-o...

Re: In or Out? New poll.

fine. Pretty boring discussion, and shouldn't have bitten to the LOL If people don't want to believe its one of the better parts of the country, and being close to London and Heathrow which was my original point, make a difference, then ok. I suspect it probably does though. Can we go back to whinge...

ha thats a fair point. One of those teams I take zero notice of, but checked their last two Prem line ups and he started.

Sounds like BS

it is a nice part of the country, and is close to Heathrow and London. It does make a difference, LOL or not. I speak as one born and bred in Reading and proud of it but "nice part of the country"? you're having a laugh. find all the anti-Reading a bit tiresome. Berkshire is a very nice p...

Re: The Chris Gunter appreciation thread

tbh, I've never really heard him get any abuse. Only from Ian Royal on here plus one or two others. Maybe thats what comes with sitting in the ED Amazed when Stam referred to it last week. He has a seriously thin skin. He's a decent player. Gives his all and actually looks like he really gives a tos...
