Re: New Manager

this was on Talk Reading:

Reading are willing to offer Rio Ave €1 million for manager José Manuel Gomes. A decision is likely to be made in the next few hours, but he is expected to stay at the club

Bored of the whole thing now. Lets just use that money for Ainsworth and move on.

Can they play at Brentford as well? Just round the corner.

Re: The Reading FC players who fans want to keep or sell in January transfer window

Is Jonathan Lowe doing his best to make sure we go down this season? He has just issued a list of all the players Reading fans most want to get rid of. Can you imagine a player reading that and what it will do to their confidence or motivation?? Players are just like us human beings with the same e...

Re: The Egg chasers relegation

Be sad for the Rugby fans in Reading, but does seem to have been quite a big disconnect over the last few years. Prob best all round. Personally speaking, they won't be missed. Find Rugby an awful game, one of the only sports I don't like.

Re: The Local Journo Thread

Poor from JLow

In an article about who fans wants to see most sold, he is surprised that Mannone tops the list. He doesn’t, it’s just he doesn’t understand his own poll

Re: New Manager

why did he sign that deal? Bit foolish of him that. Signed it in June this year. He loves Wycombe, improved his deal and gave him a bit of a budget for once too. He turned down huge money from Barnsley last season when Wycombe were in League 2 and Barnsley were a Championship side, he's not a money...

Re: The Local Journo Thread

tbf, I was fairly outraged by Kempson making such a woeful and obvious joke in his column.

I don't normally read them, and I wish I hadn't read that one

Re: New Manager

Honestly think our best bet now is to just give it to Marshall until the end of the season. The owners' picks seem to be becoming more and more underwhelming. The last thing we need is to bring someone in for the sake of it, and then have to pay them off at the end of the season. Let's just see whe...

Re: New Manager

Ian’s would be about the team I’d pick Would prob play McCleary instead of either Meite or Bod and bring the other off the bench after an hour or so as a general rule Tbh though, no real point including Obita at the moment. Still a way off and be 18 months out. Would play Blackett there You’re a tr...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

We played ok - just seemed to lack a bit of attacking spark

Nobody screamed out as being ready for the first 11. Richards looked solid enough though

Also had some real young lads in there with the keeper and Pendlebury

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Was a little disappointed to be honest. Both sides better defensively than going forward. Goal was a pen out of nothing really. Very little in the way of creativity by either side, esp Man U House looks pretty good (no way is he is 5ft 9 whoever said that), if a little limited. Midfield tidy enough....
