Re: Clement

Did Roberts and Dembele even really play for him? Both left before they became ‘good’ - Dembele for free wasn’t it?

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Another England goal for Loader

Wonder how long he can be kept out of our first team set up

Would love to see him as a regular in the squad from this point on

Re: Clement

well Jokanovic sacked by Fulham as expected Definitely an option there if PC doesn't get a run going I don't know. I can't help but think that Jokanovic greatly benefited from inheriting a really decent crop of youngsters and had money behind him to build a team. Do we not have a decent crop of you...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

It was £35 when I went for the worst view in the championship. And whilst Portman Road is an old ground it’s hardly Villa Park and a cauldron of noise. Bearing in mind the utter trip we’ve played the last two seasons it’s amazing anyone bothers to turn up! Soulless identikit bowl seems to be code f...

Why out of interest?

Bar QPR the last 5 home games have been thoroughly entertaining and reasonably successful

Re: The very latest in Clement In/Out Polls

Can see arguments both ways tbh We should be doing better than we are, but we have certainly improved and he has been unlucky in terms of a huge squad of meh and some unfortunate injuries Said ‘in’ on the basis that I’ve enjoyed watching us 10 times more than last year and I think we are gradually g...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

The most important thing that Clement has done for us is he has brought the fun back to watching Reading FC. These high scoring, end to end, exiting games of football are making watching Reading an enjoyable experience once again. . Some of the stuff you write is borderline mental, but do agree wit...

Thought that but Brum and Swansea away are tough, Millwall improving and Brizzle were (somehow) on the edge of the POs when we played them

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (h) sponsored by Orlando Sa

Yeah agree this is no time to be sacking him. We are improving but still putting in some disappointing performances

I think a lot of us said as soon as we saw Eza he would be a huge player for us. Huge shame he got injured

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

I more confident of it working now than before. With McCleary back and Meite shitting out goals it could work. Ezatolahi would make me a lot more confident though... Two in midfield 'worked' second half for a few reasons. Ipswich tired Ipswich decided to defend their lead and play on the break Ipsw...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Well I think we should just play 2 in there absolutely. Bacuna + Kelly/Swift

Then McCleary/Barrow or Sims on the wings and Meite + Baldock/McNulty (or even Loader) up front

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Hi all. I notice Bacuna appears to be getting some low (I presume justifiably) marks despite getting the assist for our second goal. I haven't seen the game yet so I want to know specifically where he was poor. In attacking?, defending?, passing?... Was his performance poor because of formation or ...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Yep good respect shown. Tbf the Ipswich fans seemed pretty good - decent numbers, made a bit of noise but supported their team without just lame insults at us. Basically not like Brizzle.

Thought the game itself was pretty good and entertaining as well, despite the result.
