Agree with this Boro fan:

Today was a professional performance against a well organised and tidy but toothless team.

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

This thread and some of the opinions really do sum up modern football fans for me. Many on here and in the stands jizzed themselves when JS was announced, that Reading could attract a big named manager, capable of doing deals and possibly attracting players, sharing his knowledge. If I recall correc...

Re: Maidenhead United

I was under the impression that there was going to be some sort of revenge for the Aldershot fans attacking a Reading pub a few months ago... Would be more surprised if it didn't go off somewhere tbf. I hadn't heard about them doing that. It was quite good to hear them singing they hate us... nice ...

Private mini bus travelling

I've seen tons of clubs and fans do this, including Reading fans.; I don't want to travel on the STAR coaches as I don't want to be confined by the rules of that and would rather be free to drink and be merrry. I've seen schemes where fans go on mini buses that are privately rented. I don't have any...

Re: BFTF ...Some hazy blobs...(H)

This video made me laugh: https://youtu.be/1Oy_SVg_IPs Cliff notes: Football blogger begins video talking about going to Brighton vs Cardiff game. He's a neutral and I think just goes and blogs each fixture 3 hour drive to game and it's called off Him and friend decide to go to Billericay game in Es...

Re: BFTF ...Some hazy blobs...(H)

Should have been cancelled in the afternoon. Like Brighton was Really think this is correct. It was bad in bracknell where I was. But I'd also heard it was bad around areas of Reading. Person on radio said about people not hearing the message or unable to turn around but they are really in the mino...

Re: BROFLighton

Let's just all meet up together. It may be fun, could be a big scrap in town or just a moody pint in Weatherspoons At least we have the decency to acknowledge they are cnuts... not the whole "I don't care about them" routine. I hope they end up 3rd, and lose in the play off final in the 93...

Re: BROFLighton

All this "we don't care about them"....

I'm big enough to say that I fcking hate those arrogant, southern, beach loving cnuts. They're the only club I'd actually want to meet up with and sort out our differences.

Re: BFTG-Bristol city.

Bloody hell. I hate this sort of stuff... that's a dive and no excuses. No, the two players' paths cross with Samuel going after the ball and the defender going near post. Samuel's heel is clipped causing his feet to tangle. Foul. You're saying it's afoul? Really? It looks like a dive to me...

Re: Royal Elm Park

Watching darts tonight on TV which is being filmed at Wolverhampton Civic Hall - total capacity around 1800 (1200 standing, rest seated).

This is the sort of event that Reading would really benefit from hosting. Gets us more noticed, on the map a bit more, plus a bit more going on about the place.

Re: INJURY WATCH : 2016-2017

Hopefully won't be too much of big miss, but as our only source of real creativity from midfield we may struggle. Let's just grind out nil-nils until he's back. Yea play offs look like a good possibility if we keep fighting for each point. Brighton I fear are going to get promoted automatically. Th...

Re: Fulham (A)

My eldest is still at Infants school. He comes to some away games with me. In the last few years he has been to Huddersfield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Derby. At all those games haven't been that full and we've been able to sit where he can see and not really (clearly) hear the 'tactical analysis' of...
