Re: Weekend Football

Schneiderlein should have stayed on his feet which also gave the ref a decision to make that's just w@nky pundit cliché talk he can stay on his feet or he can go to ground, making a fair tackle is the only important thing. If the issue is players overreacting then sort that out, don't make players ...

Re: CheLOLsea

Someone told me it's one of the reasons Chelsea fans stopped singing at Liverpool about winning stuff without killing anyone. Bit hard to sing that when you have an actual irl bloke in your team who has killed. That would be astounding evidence of a degree of self-awareness in Chelsea fans hitherto...

Re: Preston fan in peace and ale

The clue is in the username pne ALE fan. Nice touch for traveling fans and makes a change from the usual “hope you have a good season... starting after tomorrow” I prefer the o/p to all the football talk on the forum. Have a good pint tomorrow Mr Fan. Yeah, there's an awful lot of football chat on ...

Re: Birmingham Away 26/08

We usually do the Banbury split and get groupsave. That's a complete foreign language to me! You get a return RDG - Banbury, and a return Banbury - Brum but stay on the same train. It works out cheaper than a direct ticket. Groupsave is 30% off if 3 or more of you travel together. Std is £55, split...

Re: ArsenaLOL

Gr8 game today. Very arsenal. They won't do any good playing like that all season. No defence at all. The whole premise of Arsenal's game is goal expectancy. The way they play is designed to score goals. This is based on analytics/evidence/numbers rather than Alan Shearer type analysis. Their probl...

Re: Weekend Football

If you ever wanted an easy fixture for the first game of the season it has to be West Ham without Antonio, Lanzini and Carroll. Wait for the media to cream themselves over 2nd season Mourinho. BTW did I hear correctly in commentary that he is the first manager in history to spend £1 billion on play...
