Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

also, as a general point, it seems a bit silly to try and point out that a team only did well because the opposition made mistakes, when the aim of the game is to apply pressure on the opposite team until they make a mistake, at which point you hope to capitalise. You could literally look at every ...

I'm sure City will ultimately win tonight but really impressed with Bristol and the way they are matching City Really scrapping for everything and creating quite a bit as well. Deserved the half time lead. Played it exactly how they should do and how all teams should approach games against the bigg...

Is the right answer. 4fs.... What, you never heard of this? Any theories for Sheff Wed and Fulham's struggles this season? Were you one of those who said in here that Fulham, if they somehow kept the same manager, and kept Sessignon, would walk this league this season? the fact that the word 'often...

Re: Genuine question - how did the pundits know we were likely to be fighting relegation?

Guys you are you are right to ask for references. I thought it was common knowledge so forgive the lack of references it probably had a bigger impact on me. THIS is almost certainly the article I may have read and it shocked me at the time. So whoever says it was after a couple of games is spot on,...

Instead of attacking the OP on the grounds of pedancy, we could answer the sentiment of his post. Why weren't we heavily tipped to go up? BroBot's tedious goal expectancy stat that everyone seems obsessed with and we finished in 3rd in defiance of? Yep, i'd agree with you Ian! The most credible 'on...

they got better by not being able to score a prem league goal for the first 7 games of Steven Reid's appointment Reid wasn't there until the 5th game of the season, and two out of the three matches that they lost before they beat Chelsea were against United and City. Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

Nothing to do with bringing in Hodgson? That's the point I'd make rather than attributing anything to Steven Reid Well yes, Hodgson is a very good manager which people are all to ready to forget but when Reid left Reading we got worse. He joined Palace and they’ve got better. Seems reasonable to th...

Jesse Lingard has taken the place of Harry Kane in my doing-ok-but-for-some-reason-doesn't-convince-me player Agreed. I'm slightly biased as I just don't like him, but he just looks like he's riding the wave of some good form and a bit of luck along the way even though that form is lasting longer t...
