Re: The generic transfer thread

listened to a podcast yesterday and they said Bayern Munich would make a lot of sense for him with them needing new wide attacking players, being able to offer fairly big money, Chumps League knockout regulars but more than that they said Bayern have a reputation of being the best club for injury pr...

Re: World Cup 2022 qualifying begins

The place I grew up played only 2 games between 2011 and 2018, a home and away tie in the first round of caribbean qualifying. Lost on away goals. :| You may have seen the CONIFA thing last summer - genuinely think some of the smaller islands and outposts would be better off in that and playing sim...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Getafe let in an 87th minute equaliser which allowed Valencia to leapfrog them and take the final Champions League spot.

Would have been fairytale stuff had they got into the CL. So close!

Re: New Kits 2019/20

I find it odd as it is a competition they are generally in most years and often get to the latter stages (recent times aside) If Leicester did it for winning the PL in 20 years time I would get it, if Forest have references to their European Cup wins on their shirts then yeah, I absolutely get it, b...

One of my favourite transfer stories: https://punditarena.com/uncategorized/cheffernan/summertime-madness-dodgy-dealing-robert-jarni-coventry-city/ never heard that before I have always liked the story of Figo joining Real Madrid, and how he never actually wanted to join them at all but his agent s...
