Re: England V Panama

someone at work has gone full tryhard by claiming this morning that england were 'f*cking sh*t' at the weekend. A few of us were saying what an enjoyable game it was and he butted in to offer the above comment. When someone asked what he was on about he said we were too focussed on the goals and if ...

I don't think anyone has really stood out, which has been why it's been a good tournament

Re: England V Panama

Just chucked a quid on Walker getting booked in this half as he was in the first game so it would leave him clear for the knock outs

Re: England V Panama

Anyone booked in the first game that might want to pick up a yellow in this so as to miss the non event vs Belgium and be clean for the knock outs?

Re: World Cup 2018

Agree on the idea that 48 teams will only make it worse, but I’ve actually enjoyed most of the games I’ve watched even if there’s been more 1-0’s or tight games as a result. I guess we all look for different things in football - the only games I've truly enjoyed so far is the Spain vs Portugal game...

He's not the most exciting pundit but Zabaleta seems like a nice bloke. I would happily go a cafe for a light lunch and soft drink with him (if invited to)

+1.

Lucy Verasame is still the one though. Got to give ITV credit for those two.

Been a solid Verasamy fan since back in her Sky days. Inserting your penis into her must be some experience.

Re: World Cup 2018

Swiss goal celebrations could be seen as somewhat provocative. The bird hands thing across the chest is considered a symbol of Albania and both Xhaka and Shaqiri were being boooood by the Serbian fans due to their heritage

Re: World Cup 2018

I think it was given cos his arm was outstretched, and the ball hit it on the way towards the goal ( ish). The defender certainly did not mean to handle it, but that is not relevant if the arms are up/ out. Harsh decision, but prolly correct. If the defender didn't mean to handle it, it can't be de...

An Australian just disloc8ed his shoulder. It was hard to see how it could have happened as it was just going down on his arm in very normal fashion, but you could see his arm go all funny after. vomit.gif
