Re: THE BETTING THREAD

struggling to find any season long bets tbh. Skybet doesn't let you put many league winner bets together into an accumulator either

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Mourinho was a manager of his time. He arrived with no baggage, spend outrageous sums of money (for the time) and with it acted like top dog, swaggering around offering put downs and one liners all over the place, he was the media's darling and he was a winner. Others caught up financially, he went ...

Saw it reported that the brief Godin rumours yesterday were because his agent phoned Man Utd saying his player was interested in joining, Man Utd make an offer, within hours Godin has signed a new improved contract which he had been haggling with Atletico over for months. lolz

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Fair play to Moore. Our best defender by some distance, wanted the move that anyone in his position would, asked to leave, was told no, so says he is staying and will work hard to get in the team.

can't see anything at all wrong with that tbh. It's pretty much how football should work.

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

what's the 'hungry' cut off line? is he too old for that description now? I don't think there is a cut off line Even towards his retirement he can still be "hungry" to play or to do as best as he can. It doesn't mean just going up or to a better league, it's just playing to your best not ...

Annual Juve A Vs Juve B taking place this weekend. It always takes place in the small town of Villar Perusal, population 4000, where the Agnelli family live This apparently attracts quite a bit of interest from Juve fans each year with some matches being better attended than others depending on who ...

Re: The Football League Thread 18/19

Maybe the fixture list handed them an unfortunate start but Sheffield Utd losing their opening 2 games conceding 5 goals seems a surprise to me. I would have picked them as one of the teams fighting hard around the edge of the play offs this season

Re: The generic transfer thread

His transfer to Juventus always felt an odd one as they didn't need him at all, it was purely about weakening their nearest rival. He was sensational at Napoli and broke the Italian goalscoring record, but Juve were almost guaranteed the league already, they paid a transfer record just to keep Napol...

Italian press say a big swap deal is being discussed between AC Milan and Juventus for Bonucci, Higuain, Benatia, Pjaca & Caldara, plus some money. Just can't imagine anything like that happening here Sounds like it is going ahead. Reports that Higuain's part will involve a loan first with a €2...

Pablo Moreno moves from Barcelona to Juventus. He is a 16 year old centre forward who is yet to play for the first team but plays for the Spanish national youth teams. He was reportedly seen as the biggest star in Barca's youth team and very much being lined up as 'the next Messi' after scoring a si...
