Re: CONFIMRED - Dave Edwards

Life is complex, not everything that goes wrong has someone at fault. Blame culture helps no one.

For example, it's no one person's fault you're a div, and blaming your parents helps no one.

Re: Rival Watch

Can’t see how you can lump Barrow even in the same sentence as the likes of Swift and Aluko when referring to last years performances He contributed in every game I watched and was our only source of danger in most of them He has flaws certainly, esp defensively, but the pluses massively outweigh t...

Re: Rival Watch

Barrow did score a very impt goal under Clement vs Preston He was genuinely the only player who provided any spark or interest last season. I really would rather not lose him How does he qualify as a luxury player when he was or top scorer and created a number of assists. A luxury is something you ...

You don't know me or what I do though so hush up wasteman. When it happens you will look even more foolish.

I don't have to.

Why?

Like the sound of this, won't set the world alight, but is a good defensive midfielder. I wonder would he do any EASports related stuff? Obviously I approve on Nationality grounds also, with Stephen Quinn leaving, and Liam Kelly backing off from international football, the Irish representation at t...

Re: Rival Watch

TBH, if Stam went to Swansea and wanted Barrow, he's wwlcome to him if he'll stump up the cash, the guy is almost the definition of a luxury player and we could fill at least two, maybe three, holes with his fill. I'd far rather lose him than Moore. Hope Parky learns from his Hull escapade and doesn...

I think I'm inclined to agree with Brobot. Burst onto the scene as a keen youngster, but never really looked like he knew what he was doing.

Phil Jones is just a big useless clumsy gurning lump.

Well done Chelsea, nice to see them stick one over on Mourinho again. Well, at least the slightly more tolerable of the two possible crap outcomes anyway.

Re: Players you'd like us to sign thread

Big Hec would be a great signing IF he rediscovers his form. He was terrible for Hull last season and his final season here at Reading. Marriott from Peterborough, Ojo from Scunthorpe and Carey from Plymouth would be great signings Partly why I'd only want a perm rather than loan. I think there's a...

Echo that our tickets are excellent value. There are League Two clubs who don't charge much less than we do ffs.

After signing Yiadom I'm almost back on the bandwagon. Now if we can just flog Gunter next week I'd buy in a heartbeat.

Re: CONFIMRED - Andy Yiadom

Another thought - this does mean we could revive the 'wing-back' idea. I guess that both Obita and Yiadom would be better suited to a more free-flowing, attacking role. But then I hear that Clement isn't keen on that style. Something like --------------------------------Manone ---------------------...

Although a recently relegated team has two positive factors.

Potential bouncebackability. And parachute payments. Plain and simple Brom could easily improve his wages and talk up a chance of top flight return.

I don't think it's particularly clear either way whether he'll stay or go.

Re: CONFIMRED - Andy Yiadom

Lol @ the idea of Cardiff buying Gunts for the Premier League. They'd have to be bonkers. I reckon he would be more suited to the football in the Premier League, just as he always seems to perform better on the international stage. Well given he couldn't even keep Shaun Cummings out the side the la...

Re: Building for next season

The benefit of being at the game is that you have a much bigger picture than that on the screen. It's also what others don't do that matters. Last year there was a lack of cohesion and personal responsibility. Too much shrugging of shoulders and leaving it to somebody else from some individuals. Th...
