Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Steve Stone

Said from the first point I saw it that Moore had no business running 40 yards to pile in and escalate something Ilori was managing fine.

Completely unsurprising and I don't think we've got a leg to stand on.

Re: Is Kelly off?

I like Kelly, he's often suffered from being surrounded by shit players who don't move. But he also hasn't really lived up to the hype and has some fairly big weaknesses. I want to see him back in the team performing - and he played well alongside the only actually proper consistently good midfielde...

I’m not sure what’s more idiotic. Trump or Brexit.

Clearly needs a poll (with Ian Royal option)

No Poll needed there, anyone can tell you the winner.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I've just rewatched the highlights because of this argument and I can't say I think there's much the ref got bang on. Fox - could easily have seen a straight red Richards - slightly more control but a worse challenge, couldn't complain at red Murphy - a straight red, looks like intent and worse tha...

Re: Tiago llori

Am I the only one who thinks illori is a decent CB and worth more than £3 million...? I think he is potentially worth more than 3m. too many mistakes recently have certainly hit his value. He has tons of ability if he could concentrate better and make better decisions at times. I'd personally like ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

No doubt they are still bigger clubs. That's what makes their obsession with "little" Reading even funnier. Especially when they suddenly discover songs written by a little old lady 4 years ago. Yeah guys, we had a shit pop song four years ago... We laughed at it then, and we're lau...

Re: CONFIMRED José Gomes

Two words, IMO, "driving forward" More words. More players will carry the ball when there's space, and very often at space. Rhino, most games, McCleary this weekend It seems they are rekindling the Williams factor but not with just one player. Not sure if other sides are setting up differ...

Re: BFTG Forest Home

Are you for real? Thought Barrow did very little. Probably our worst player. Apart from the brilliant run and assist for the goal we scored, he was a constant threat, balls put through to him using his pace. He was a constant menace. Shit long shot when Bod was begging for a through ball though.

Re: Tiago llori

A major influence on the younger players such as Rinomhota. The experience he brings shouldn't be underestimated. Clement identified the lack of character in the squad towards the end of last season. Hence at the time a throwaway signing. Suspect he offers a lot on the training ground as well and i...

Re: CONFIMRED José Gomes

Why would it be a question of them ‘just’ pulling their collective finger out ? Maybe they have been given a clearer game plan (as individuals and collectively) Maybe training is better Maybe the new regime has restored confidence and belief Maybe the clearout has focused a few minds I doubt they s...

Re: Tiago llori

It's a fact it is a possibility that is currently on target to happen seeing as we're in the relegation zone. I didn't say he had been relegated three seasons in a row. Or that he definitely would be.

Re: CONFIMRED José Gomes

I know I'm getting a bit carried away and I'm having to consciously combat that. It feels like, for the past 15 months or so, under four different managers, every victory has been so emphatic that it feels like we've turned a corner, and half the draws have been really promising. Then we'll go on a...

Re: BFTG Forest Home

JMW didn't say that. He said keeper's who can do both are above Championship. TBH Keepers who can do both are above quite a lot of the PL sides.

Re: CONFIMRED José Gomes

I particularly like how he has the same honesty that Clement had in his interviews yet he says it all in a sexy Portuguese accent and plays passing football so the new age stat obsessed football manager generation of our fan base lap it up. Far more positive in his speech and approach than Clement....

You seem to have a hard on for me right now, but I'll explain scepticism for you seeing as you dont seem to get it. I haven't made an assertion, I've rejected an assertion that has no supporting evidence just speculation. I've then said what I'd have expected to see if it was true. It's also a fact,...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Steve Stone

To be fair, are Reading fans really any judge of what most football fans would consider turgid anymore? Our performances have been so dire for so long it's probably reset our perspective somewhat and most people's turgid is now excellent to us. Well, were you at the game? If you were you’d be able ...
