Yeah, it's dreadful coming from behind twice to draw against a team in the top six when our home form is abysmal.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by When Saturday Comes

Six goal thriller with two comebacks and a red card for all those complaining of being bored watching us play.

Well rescued. Still on target for safety, 5 from 5. Good to see our two top scorers back amongst the goals.

That'll do.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

I want Gunter to win POTS solely to see Ian's meltdown on here afterwards To be fair to him, he was actually good at left back. He's been a shambles for far too many goals to win PotS, but then not a single one of them deserves it. It tells you everything you need to know about the standard being s...

Re: The fans alternative course of action.

Bottom line is its bloody impossible to get passionate and excited about our dull boring tactics. How can you chant and cheer pass backs and cross area possession? It takes two to Tango Mr Stam We've managed it in the past. It doesn't take any special inspiration to stand up and sing Molly Malone. ...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

I think Parky and the club are reaching the stage where they'd be the right level for each other, but I can't see it happening as he doesn't really fit the mold of what we want. Though he was around under McGhee so it's not like he hasnt been involved in our more passing days. I too fear tarnishing...

Just been sent this by a Rangers supporting colleague: https://www.followfollow.com/forum/threads/if-reading-came-for-murty.20111/ Nothing new here, no rumours or anything like that, just some Rangers fans specul8ing about what might happen if we came in for Murty, with some "interesting"...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

There is clear difference between the same argument. 1 saying there is absolutely nothing to worry about and we should not have been worrying ever. The other pointing out that the results are crap but we are slowly getting over the line, but we pull some results out of somewhere. Either it's the sa...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

Since the run up to Burton A we've needed a point a game to be reasonably confident of staying up. In that time we have played 4, won 1, drawn 1 and lost 2. That's a point a game, so we're on track. Ideally we'd be ahead as the next few are tricky, but a win in any of our next three does the job and...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

OP seems a fairer reflection of the game than a lot on the other thread 2 points dropped being as we were 1 up, but Forest would have felt hard done by if they’d lost I thought we looked a lot more positive and aggressive. Obvs we were far from perfect, the passing was poor at times, but not a disa...

Re: Relegation Watch

Spectacularly missing the point the lot of you. No one said everything is the fan's fault. They've said the fans aren't helping and are in fact contributing to the problem. The fans have little influence of what happens on the pitch, but what little influence they have can sometimes tip the balance...

Re: Relegation Watch

IF we win (and I think we will, comfortably) I'd like to see Boro beat Hull Brentford beating Birmingham Burton & Barnsley 0-0 Bolton & Sunderland 0-0 That would be three more points clear of two teams and two more points clear of four rare agreed. A point doesn't do Sunderland or Burton mu...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Very much under pressure second half with very little outlet. Aluko seems utterly devoid of confidence in creating anything, but actually did ok in the middle third IMO. Summed up by a beautiful piece of skill by Bacuna to beat his man down the right, only to then look confused and pass back to thei...

How the oxf*rd did Gunter go from tracking his man back well, to being nowhere near him an instant oxf*rd later when the ball fell their way again. Jesus Christ. Useless.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Jolly good. Only watched the last 5-10 minutes but we looked to be trying a few more positive forward balls and a bit slicker. Still not enough movement to give good forward options often enough. Noticeable that when Moore tries to burst forward the team is more interested in covering the gap he's l...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

Fair play to Wigan Daily Star reporting Stam will be sacked if we lose tonight. Based on what exactly I’m not sure Makes sense to be fair. I think beating Burton saved him from the chop earlier, but losing to Millwall and then Forest without getting another point and if he isn't sacked, then he sim...

Re: The fans alternative course of action.

I think the fans have made their feelings known. Its time to draw a line in the sand and get behind the team . Yes. As it happens that's a very succinct summary of the statement STAR made earlier this week. Which, if you want the full thing, is pasted below. "We’re well aware of the often heate...
