Re: BFTG Swansea

Quietly assuring performance. There was only a narrow margin between us and Swansea, which bodes well for the future. Our build up play has also improved significantly. Movement off the ball from all players is now much better. Our issue last night, as everyone has acknowledged, was the lack of a s...

Re: BFTG Swansea

Well that was a depressing evening. Not so much the performance or even the result but how far we are behind Swansea as a club. Since the play off final they have gone from strength to strength winning a major trophy along the way and becoming an established Premier league club. Whilst we look a mi...

I've come to the conclusion dd was born with no brain, just a skull cavity jam packed full of knee jerk violently negative emotions and stupidity.

Presumably the ds refer to dunce.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City Reserves (h) still looking for a sponsor

The worst I've seen us play since the last time I had a season ticket. One paced, dull-witted, aimless, negative, sponge-footed, can't-be-arsed tripe. Not one single effort that looked convincingly like anyone actually wanted to score a goal. On that display (which is only one cup game and doesn't m...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City Reserves (h) still looking for a sponsor

None of our players are moving in the box. No one is oxf*rd attacking anything. Not pissing once has anyone attacked the far post. Wedhave scored three if someone tried that.

Move you fooking arseholes!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City Reserves (h) still looking for a sponsor

We're doing really badly at offering options and also ignoring lots of possibilities for safety sake, only to end up getting squeezed into more danger.

We keep only having about one player showing for a forward or sideways pass.

It came back for a short bit just before the teams came out for the 2nd half. Anyone else having the same problem?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City Reserves (h) still looking for a sponsor

Didn't get to see much of the match so far as I didn't realise there'd be a stream. Swift stood out to me as particularly unhelpful in the couple of good moments we had. Took the ball and turned 270 degrees inside into a congested midfield, rather than leave it or touch it on for Clement who was hea...

Re: Shocking and disgusting behaviour

I mean blue smoke and chanting football fans is a pretty good give away it wasn't anything particularly sinister. Definitely obnoxious and probably very irritating if you were a normal passenger on the train but football fans in general are that. Don't really get why everyone is getting upset over ...

Re: Under 23"s Supposedly not ready for first team football.

....but failing to match the hype. That's not their fault though, its down to unrealistic expectations maybe because of the graduation return of Pearce, Karacan, Sigurdsson, HRK, Church and Obita (half a team basically) in the space of 3 years. I'd rather we had realistic expectations. Currently we...

Re: Under 23"s Supposedly not ready for first team football.

Kuhl looked competent in his first team runouts but didn't look any better than Jake Taylor or Ryan Edwards. Tanner spent 2 years on the bench at Plymouth and Fosu struggled to get games in League 2. Quite a lot of players "don't look out of place" when they get a runout with the first te...

We were good at taking and holding onto a lead last season, but weren't we still pretty terrible at recovering points after going behind still? Not that the system really plays strongly in that area.

Jaakola; Gunter, Ilori, Evans, Axel, Obita; Bacuna, Edwards; McCleary, Jon Dadi, Clement Subs: Mannone, McShane, Blackett, Kelly, Beerens, Barrow, Aluko Why would Rinomhota (note spelling!) get a game ahead of Gunter - they're not the same position? Re: Shocking and disgusting behaviour

It's a level of self-obsessed ignorant fukwittery so bad, it deserves to be a crime, even if it isn't. How is what happened not a crime? It shits on most public order acts and that's before getting into specific transport/railway laws. Didn't say it wasn't. I just don't know what it would be if it ...
