Is he the same Nicky Hammond that you were all slagging a few years ago and blaming for everything that went wrong?

Asking for a friend.

Re: Safe standing progress

Frustrating to think Oxford United will likely have safe standing before we do. In fact their Ox rail system is better than conventional safe standing as you can sit down at half time.

He didn't always get it right but he always encouraged positive supportive singing which, right now, might help the team a bit and shut the boo boys up. Y25 have never been great ...

Re: Safe standing progress

Why on earth would you need more room to stand rather than sit? That sounds like on of those stupid clueless FLA ideas that has no basis at all in reality. Standing you need more room as you tend to move, there is more capacity where you can have 2 rows standing in the space for one sitting, but th...

Re: Safe standing progress

Interesting spread of opinions. From my research (Google) I'm led to believe the issue with converting seated stands is about the size of the concourse areas. So if it were a retro fit you could only replace a seat with a standing space on a 1 to 1 basis as Celtic have done. I read somewhere if you'...

Safe standing progress

Now that Shrewsbury have applied to put 500 rail seats into their South Stand and Northampton are following suit - and the Premier League are surveying all their clubs - there must be a reasonable chance that safe standing will come to the Madejski in the future. Reading have previously indicated su...
