Re: Season Tickets 18/19

I don't get this trend of thought that 'there should be a discount after last season'. +1, if we had gone down, then, yes a discount would've been needed. But we didn't so happy to pay the same/+£25 extra this year. It is still really good value. Unless you were calling for price increases when we’...

Re: Back from the ****

First half was a very ordinary half between teo ordinary teams. We were excellent after half time, although our finishing let us down. We should have been 3-0 up and would have fully deserved that. Their goalkeeper deserves serious credit for that incredible save to deny Swift. After Ipswich scored...

Re: Back from the ****

Fingers crossed for results going our way next week. Fingers crossed the results go against us, then we can be deservedly relegated and we can get rid of this shower of gutless sh*te and rebuild and start all over again. Anyone who requests relegation is a disgrace - take a look at yourself Gunny

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (h) sponsored by just do it!

Just got off at Goring & Streatley and walked past Nigel Howe waiting for a train to Reading / Paddington.

Surreal - how times have changed! He would have been boozing it up with opposing board members if this was any of the past 15 seasons.

It’s an interesting challenge - but impossible to disprove - unless you’ve lived through every game like us fans have you can’t make that claim

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (h) sponsored by just do it!

What? He was offside in their half then the ref brought it into our half? How did he interfere in our half? When the ball was played he was offside because he was in the opposition half ahead of the Ipswich players. He then returned to our half and touched the ball, meaning he was active and free k...

What was the ref doing there? He gave an offside against Kermie then brought it forward 10 yards? It’s the laws - foul is given from where they interfere and not from where they are offside What? Clement quite rightly batting this away as ridiculous timing to ask such a question from the press.

Nope - I’m with you, Burton for the great escape (also said this on Saturday)

Just for record , I`m so fcuking glad I`ve got North royal lad, (or whatever is stupid name is) on ignore. all I get is blank spaces, and trust me that's a lot more entertaining than his posts. I urge everyone to do the same. Don't bother quoting me Dave, I cant see it, and I don't want to! It's a ...

Badge on the chest is such a misnomer - unless you’ve supported as a kid or come through the academy, why would you care about the badge?

We are rubbish but safe on 43 points.

Burton to pull off the great escape and Barnsley and Bolton to join Sunderland in Div 1.

You think we are safe?

Yes, safe as houses.

No more points necessary. But we will beat Cardiff nonetheless.

Re: Relegation Watch

I don’t think it’s that unlikely for Bolton, Brum and Bsrnsley to reach 44 points. For Bolton that would be a win, a defeat and a loss. For Brum a win, a draw and two defeats. For Barnsley two wins and two defeats. So none of them will have to be in great form. If JR suggests our players can now af...

Christ almighty what planet are you on ? It’s not likely but it’s still possible. Whilst it’s possible don’t be dismissive. We are 40/1 to go down with the bookies - they are not stupid. If we were talking about one team needing to win 2 out of 3 to catch us then fine to panic mildly - but not 3 te...

I absolutely bloody loved that last 10-15 minutes - brilliant entertainment! Breathless end to end stuff - that’s the most I’ve felt a Reading game in a long time. Gunter, the legend, put in a wonderful cross on his wrong foot to set up the equaliser. Barrow, our deserved player of the season, then...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h) sponsored by the curse of Saturday

In the non away half of the South Stand there is a small group of maybe 40 Reading fans who are standing up and singing throughout the first half. Is this our standing area experiment? Or is it a special Armed Forces thing (their flag has an RAF logo I think)? Armed forces....or Mods day out.....St...
