Re: The Non - League thread

Planning on doing one of the Vase ties this weekend as well. Either going to Melksham or Bracknell. Bracknell will be the better game I think, but its not a 'tick'. What is the capacity at Bracknell? Cant be much more than 1500 surely there is very little room around the pitch? Might be an old fash...

Re: Alternative to STAR?

Saw something on Twitter earlier by the Reading FC Change Group. Not sure who they are or how legit it is though. They seem to be massively against STAR. Thanks I will go take a look. I am not hugely against STAR btw, but it would be madness to think they represent every fans views so a secondary g...

Re: Alternative to STAR?

Not knocking STAR, they have done a great job at times, but understandably not everyone agrees with their position all the time and I wondered if it might be useful for fans to have an alternative voice. Was wondering how many people would be interested in an alternative to STAR? R eading S upporte...

Re: The Non - League thread

Windsor are taking a supporters’ coach to Stockton on a Saturday for the FA Vase Qtr Final. There are about 20 seats still available. It would be a shame not to fill it, so if anyone is interested let me know and I will give you contact details. Coach leaves Stag Meadow at 7am, costs £20 and will b...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

I'm still pro Stam. I recon hell turn this around at Forrest. But let's say he were to leave, now that's a toughie. In an ideal world, you'd get someone like Roberto Martinez. How long did he keep a struggling Wigan side in the premiership? He knows how to fight relegation. I actually thought they ...

Re: The Non - League thread

Thatcham 2-2 Windsor Not a bad game on a somewhat difficult surface. With the big FA Vase games coming up next weekend both teams rested a few. Windsor took the lead twice but both times that only lasted 2 minutes. Hard fought game, decent crowd, quite a few Reading badges on view. How many giving ...

Re: The Non - League thread

Just seen it is Virginia Water v Bracknell in the next round of the Hellenic Challenge Cup. Virginia Water seem to smash everyone they play so that should be a really good game.

This is a must not lose game. Would happily take a draw if offered it now.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a neat finish from Paul Holsgrove

Because (for the...8th time maybe) we aren't in that predicament yet and there are too many teams below us to worry. Please take this on board as it is becoming tiresome repeating myself just for your benefit. If results go against us, then after full-time on Tuesday we could find ourselves outside...

Re: Rival Watch

Betting on my own team to win, doesn't make it more likely they'll win. Betting on my team for relegation means simply that I think the odds are higher than they should be and it's therefore a good bet. END +1. And for those of you don't think I did it, you are wrong. You didn't. Everyone knows you...

When can this be used though? Offsides would be nice for a Mariachi band.
