Re: The Local Journo Thread

I like the fact that Low made no excuses for being duped by the Yermas Dildo rumour instead of trying to bluster his way out of it with some bullshit. I think it takes the bigger man to admit you've been fooled by such an obvious spoof. +1, good bloke. He's trying despite very limited access. The C...

Can see this being a very frustrating night, bit like the Algeria game from 2010. I am going for an 85th minute Harry Maguire headed winner.

Re: World Cup Punditry

They're all pcunts but I've been particularly rattled by Matterface and Pearce with their pre-planned anecdotes that they insist on going through regardless of what is happening on the pitch, can't remember which match it was but Pearce was telling some story about a previous world cup and his co-c...

I also enjoyed the American commentator at the end of the Iceland game claiming Iceland had won the game 1-1.

Re: World Cup Punditry

My favourite was Mark Lawrenson. Loved how he had it in for the French early doors and completely ripped their right back Pavard to shreds the entire game. Lovely stuff.

Can't see Rotherham staying up, really disappointed they came back up actually. Would liked to have had a new face or a London team come up, the Championship is so Northern.

Re: The generic transfer thread

Maddison is well worth that sort of fee. He was excellent when Norwich played us at the Madejski, went from strength to strength as the season went on in a really poor side. He will go a long way in the game I reckon.

Not sure I can endorse anyone called Barrie.

If it means wasters like McCleary and Aluko are shipped off I will take it though.

Good to see they are losing the megaphone. It was embarassing. Good luck to them. Do people still insist this guy isn't Kes, btw? Asking for a friend. If by people you mean OMWkes himself... yeah. Something that isn't up for debate is the fact everyone thinks you're a massive, massive prick. No dou...

Didn't realise just how much quality this Morocco side had in it. Could be dark horses.
