Re: RUMOUR - Nelson Oliveira

Mirror going with this again today, we are apparently "closing in". Will believe it when I see it. Think it will finally happen now, Gomes being a fellow countryman of Oliveria will help seal it. Just hope the player comes here determined to prove himself and prove Norwich wrong for letti...

Therefore presume Reading will be looking for a pacey ball playing centre half from somewhere.

Re: The Next 8 games - Make or Break Time

Looking at the fixture list and it seems pretty clear to me that the next 8 games will define if we are likely to stay up or go down. Starting with the Bolton game on the 29th our fixtures are as follows: Bolton (a) 22nd place Villa (H) 12th Weds (a) 16th Blackburn (H) 10th Sheff Utd (a) 3rd Rother...

Re: Gomes BBC Berks Interview

I didn’t think it was possible for Ady to come across as more of a dick than he has in recent weeks but he did it yesterday. Is it true that he tweeted yesterday he would have done a better job than Gomes? And that someone replied asking him how it went at Bedford and Didcot? This is true. Staggeri...

BBC Bluerinse have been spot-on today tbf (they said what you have just said...but they said it before you said it) Criticising Gomes at every turn just because he isn't Phil Parkinson really isn't productive. The supporter reaction to both Ady and Tim today tells you everything. Yeah it says this,...

Re: BFTG Derby (A)

Bod should’ve gotten to at least one of those crosses. I thought that too? Barrow seemed peeved a couple times. But haven't heard too many others saying same, so there ya go. I like Bodvarsson but he lacks the killer instinct a very good striker needs, just isn't there. A top Championship striker w...

https://mobile.twitter.com/OllyAllen_/status/1086653802344824837 Not as painful as it is listening to the Tilehurst End podcasts these days. Awful, awful, awful. Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by Yakubu

I thought we were really good 2nd half. Ilori can oxf*rd off out of the club, doesn't give a single shit and that first half confirms that for anyone debating it. Rinomhota shouldn't have been moved to right back. We know it, the players know it and now Gomes knows it. He will learn from his mistake...

Good, he did what a captain should be doing in that situation. He was sticking up for his teammates and taking no shit. You're the only person who is seeing the incident in a negative light. No shock there. I think we should get a new emoticon with a face of feigned surprise for whenever Snowflake ...

Harper and co were pros at getting in the ref's ear. You don't do it by screaming in their face. And that's not what Moore did anyway. He pelted 40 yards to face up Murphy not get in the red's ear and influence him. Good, he did what a captain should be doing in that situation. He was sticking up f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Steve Stone

Actually agree on that. Mentioned before how often we roll over and accept decisions, bad challenges etc. I remember the Swansea game and at ht, one of their players was having a massive go at the ref about something despite them being 3-0 up. Compared it to our lame reactions on them getting a pre...

A £5000 fine, it’s peanuts.

Because it is a minor offence and we weren't deemed to have instigated the melee.

Re: Dirty LOLeeds

The 'It's not illegal, so that's why I did it' argument doesn't stick well with me. It isn't illegal because no one would consider to do it, as it is seen as totally unsportsmanlike. I would expect a law to come in after this incident. Is it unethical to go and watch a team play to get an advantage...
