Re: League Cup 2nd round draw

If it is West Ham it will bring back memories of that game on 9/11. The eeriest game I have ever been to. I was only talking to my eldest son about that a few days ago. I remember driving along the M4 thinking the world will never be quite the same after today. I guess I was right, although not in ...

Re: League Cup 2nd round draw

I ventured into the centre of Milton Keyenes after the game. Confusing, odd and robotic place. I got the impression all of the residents are there as a result of a science experiment, all of them were formed in test tubes I'm sure of it.

Re: League Cup 2nd round draw

Fixed that for you There’s more than a couple of roundabouts in MK tbf. Very strange place I went to MK Dons away once, it was a horrendously empty experience. I was going to make a point of it on here after the game but then I figured it's probably what going to the Madejski is like for away suppo...

YAWN.

Nah, it's not that bad a draw at all.

Premier League team with some handy players, it will be a good test. Certainly better than drawing MK Dons away or something

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Away at Bolton? We're at home Saturday, no? Oh bloody hell, we are as well! I had it in my Google calendar as Bolton vs Reading... I even looked up train timings and considered going. ... To answer your original question, i believe it will happen at every league home game I would have bloody loved ...

Re: The Local Journo Thread

I guarantee you it will be nothing of great interest, if it was big news then it would've broken already, such is the nature of information nowadays. Making people wait is just poor form The bloke is such a freeloader. Bet you he will still use his Reading Chronicle pass to get into games. Looks li...

We all know it will be QPR away. Bet your house on it.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h) sponsored by Notlob is Bolton backwards

Bodvarsson and McNulty for me. Thought McNulty did really well. He looked good didn't he? Different sort of player to what I was expecting - has a great touch and decent passer. Had him down as just a poacher. That pass to Meite for the goal was obscenely good on what I think is his weaker foot Rea...

Just thought it was a bit weird if anything. I wasn't sat in the East so couldn't tell the intention but it appeared to be very sarcastic.
