Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

why was Loftus Cheek not used more often? He did not play at all after the Group games. I thought he made a difference/made things happen. Should have come on for Lingard IMO. Agreed. I thouht we lost our dynamism when Sterling went off, he was still causing problems. Should have brought RLC on for...

Seriously boys (you know who you are Genome) stop replying to TheSpread. Couldn't possibly agree more. It's like trying to put out a fire by chucking petrol at it. The place has been pretty nice whilst the arsehat has been away. And yet people have got to jump right back in to making it a tedious k...

Re: Season 2018/2019

With Gravenberch and Watson loans confirmed Smith’s proposed loan to Oxford and Berg’s proposed loan to Utrecht have hit snags thought to be over wages. Smith is also attracting interest from other L1 and Championship clubs.... You got this from the Chronicle didn't you? Meaning both JVDB and Smith...

Re: Speculation - Tom Bradshaw

Bradshaw would be the sort of signing that shows exactly where we are in the pecking order. We are mid-table dross, pure and simple. Not complaining really, its better than being relegated I guess.

Re: The Non - League thread

..... some purse-tightening going on : the re-branded Highmoor/IBIS have reportedly 'cut adrift' their 2nd 3rd and beyond strings, that were part of the Thames Valley league - opting to run only 1sts and a 'Development' outfit. There is absolutely some funny money behind the club. I will give them ...

Really hoping Ryan Sessegnon kicks on and lights up the Premier League. That current England team with his pace and raw ability in it excites me a lot. We could do with a dynamic player like him so hopefully he hits the ground running next season.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

Don't want to make excuses, the best team probably won tbf, but can anyone explain how Dejan Lovren managed to avoid getting booked twice in the first half? I think the refereeing has been consistent all through the tournament on bookings, which should be applauded on the whole. I haven't seen the ...

I sadly have to agree with Piers Morgan and say I think the word "hero" is a bit strong when describing the players. The players and management have given us hope and restored the pride again which is amazing, getting to the semi's is more than I ever imagined pre-tournament and I am very ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

Those nations are very small and will never get to win a World Cup or a Euros. You do realise Scotland has a bigger population than Croatia? I think Croatia winning it would be brilliant. It would show that you don't need 40m people, you don't need billionaire club owners and you don't need a multi...
