What price Jokanovic?

Would he want to go straight back into management? He will get a pay off and may want to take a break.
In regard to Clement I do feel for him. It seems like he is always one loss away from the sack. It’s not a great way to be managing a club.

Yes (6 seasons)

Football didn’t begin in 1992 :)

I can barely remember them playing in the top flight. My memory is not what it once was.

Fed the game some big hitting players too.

Oh they got to the final but we reached a semi final. Have they been in the top flight for more than three seasons?

As opposed to starting slowly, slowing down in the middle and finishing slowly?

Or starting slowly and petering out.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Who cares what these fans think. It’s not as if the likes of Bristol City, Millwall etc have done much in their time.

Thought it was a bit harder than that tbh

The Wigan game is very important. Win that and it’s seven from nine and a little bit of daylight. Lose with Leeds away to follow and the games start looking very difficult.

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Ok, glad we've reached an agreement that talking about the first half against Ipswich to argue against stats which include the Ipswich result is stupid. oxf*rd off Ian. You haven’t got a clue and don’t have the decency to admit you were wrong suggesting I had apportioned greater weight to the first...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

You raised the first half. Snowy pointed out the second had more baring IN THAT it changed the result and it's the RESULT that is key. You are still the one criticising saying how we're doing using 5/6 games whilst using 45 minutes as you're original example (alongside season ppg, which is hardly a...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Comprehension fail alert. He's saying the final outcome is what's important, you're the one saying the first half has special weight. Incomprehensible that you argue looking at performance over 5/6 games is stupid and meaningless and then hold up 45 minutes as part of your reasoning. READ what he i...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

How “we played” first half? We were OUTPLAYED by a side that played very well indeed. And that means SQUAT. We won the second half easily and finished with a draw. THAT is far more relevant. Where is my proof? We were great first half versus WBA. What was the result? As for gained on NINE teams, I ...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

This is where I get p!ssed off. Do you think I can't count or do simple division? A ten year old can look at P17 points 16, but that is NOT representative of how we are playing NOW, not in this 5-game batch, or the previous six game batch. BOLTON started the season brilliantly They won at WBA 2-1, ...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Thank you, Ian It is hardly rocket science, and you quite rightly point out that there was nothing false about those stats. Instead, as you also point out, 1.4 points per game multiplied by 46 games = 64.4 points. ALL that means is “a side averaging 1.4 ppg will finish on 64 or 65 points. The “seas...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

4-3-3 IMO. But for the entire second half today, when McCleary came on for Rinomhota he played as a striker. And is a striker. No way was McCleary playing as a striker. Apart from the last few minutes he was hugging the touchline, and often sitting deep enough people around me were shouting at him ...
