Come on Croatia. An on goal and very dubious penalty against them. They are playing all the football.

We had very little creativity from midfield. This will be a big season for Swift. He needs to stay injury free and take a step up from last season.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

I just stupidly sat through the extended highlights. I was pretty drunk yesterday so didn’t remember much of it. Henderson was pretty awful. Constantly trying to pump the ball forwards with a killer long pass. I think I saw one out of 10 of these find a man. The rest just gave away possession when ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

Over the course of 120 minutes Croatia deserved it. England were much the better team in the first half but Kane was really poor tonight and that was crucial. In the second half and extra time Croatia were technically the better team and it proved decisive. However England go home with their heads h...

England playing at a slower tempo and not as effective. Croatia though are creating nothing.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

Next part is to get to HT still leading Also seems a bit of a one trick game plan i.e. pass to Sterling and let him run at their defence And come on Jesse at least make the keeper work. England’s tactics are working well though. Croatia are struggling to cope with Sterling’s pace. England are playi...

Re: Three at the back

Not really. It leaves a question mark over what you do with Barrow, and with Obita injured we don't really have a decent left wing back. It's certainly something we should consider building towards as we've got a range of pretty decent centrebacks and central midfielders and not many wingers who ar...

Re: Summer Transfers

Out of interest are people expecting us yo play with 2 up front this season? Currently we have JDB and new signing McNulty as our forward options but on paper both Barrow and Meite can play there. If we sign another striker are we even going to play McNulty? I would prefer two up front but I’m not ...

Re: Summer Transfers

True but Gunter has never been injured iirc so we are always guaranteed to have at least 1... And Bacuna I guess? Forgot Bacuna, that's true. Could send Richards out at Christmas once Obita is back fit. Maybe tho, my opinion is biased because I'm desperately hoping Blackett get sent somewhere else....

Re: Thanks Yann and goodbye.

A bit sad to see him go but it’s the right decision....although we have signed someone two years older than him in this window.
Fond memories of some crucial goals for us by Yann. Top man and I hope he has a great future ahead of him in his new career.
