Re: Saturday

What a disgraceful set of posts. Disrespectful yet typical of a football fan. What were you expecting from Clement? His job was to keep us up and he has. It's not his fault we're getting daft red cards that keep costing us games. Under Stam Fulham would have anhilated us - in the first 20 mins we w...

Re: Saturday

38 games 36 points under Stam, 6 games 7 points under Clements. SIX FCUKING GAMES??? are you for real??? I’m not sure what point you are making. As I have said I have no problem with Clement. However I do not believe there has been a bounce under him and we remain a poor side. If you think ...

Re: Saturday

I don't know how to phrase this politely, but I'll try. 1.16 points per game is objectively and clearly better than 0.95 points per game under Stam over the course of this season, and vastly better than the 0.50 points per game over Stam's last six matches. It is an objective fact that we are bette...

Not nervous now. I think we have enough points in the bag.

Lovely stuff. Win on Saturday and it's job done.

Even a draw would be enough now

I now think we have enough points so could lose our last two and still stay up.

Re: Relegation Watch

: I reckon we are safe now. I can’t see Barnsley winning their last two and whoever loses in the Burton v Bolton game will finish below us. If that’s a draw Burton cannot overtake us anyway. Thank God there are at least three worse teams than us. For a change the luck has gone our way and that is ov...

Re: Relegation Watch

It's a tough call that one. Don't want to see Colin and the Welsh in the top tier either. Are the Welsh still insisting on playing under their own rules in the English PL? What are twatting on about? You do realise the Welsh clubs were invited to play in English Football League. They might have bee...

Re: Relegation Watch

Not mathematically, it would've depended on Bolton's result on Saturday, if Barnsley had won tonight. I want it to be 100% confirmed before I can relax, but that's just me. If we win, neither Bolton or Burton can get above us realistically whatever their result. But Barnsley losing helps if we fail...

+1. The Cardiff fans are far more grounded than the entitled, whining Fulham lot.

Re: Relegation Watch

That really would be the icing on the cake if, after such an appalling season, we could piss on Colin's parade in his own back yard! Reading would become a trigger word to send him into an absolute manic frenzy every time he heard or read it! The main downside is that we'd let that foaming bunch of...

Re: Saturday

I don’t blame Clement for the mess he inherited. We certainly haven’t improved though. We showed more attacking intent against Leeds and Derby in the fag end weeks of Stam’s tenure than we have since Clement arrived. I hope we see some evidence of a positive approach on Saturday. What a disgraceful...

Re: Saturday

Reading have a load of injuries and suspensions and we're waiting to see what sort of new manager we've got seeing as there's nothing Paul Clement can do due to having his hands tied by an dreadfully unbalanced and unfit squad a good few of whom are injured or suspended. And lots of teams have turn...

Re: Relegation Watch

Just for the record, if Barnsley don't get more than 1 point from their next two fixtures Reading will be safe even if they lose both of their final games (presuming Bolton don't manage a 10-15 goal win v Forest). If Barnsley don't win tomorrow, I can't see them picking up another point given their...

Re: Building for next season

So does anyone know how much 'say' Clement has in signings? Has anything changed in the structure/organization since his hiring? The reason I ask is because, for me, one of the things that appealed about Clement is the network and contacts he (should) have so that he can identify and recruit (good)...

Re: Saturday

Thoughts on the game? Will your lot bother turning up? You'll win. You always do against us. And we've got injuries (loads) and we're awaiting a decent manager for a change, but no-one's told the team, who have decamped to Butlins en masse with their trouser legs rolled up and knotted hankies on th...

Re: BFTG Wednesday (a)

I’m with Leon on this. Given that some folk refer to a new series as a new “season” I just can’t wait for the start of the new football series in August.

I look forward to receiving the usual  or :|

PS I like NCS too.
