Re: Next Season's Squad.

Watson has also been very brittle which doesn’t help. Personally I am unconvinced by both him and Richards as defenders. Richards is very naive on the defensive side although looks good going forward. I don’t share Ian’s confidence about our full-back options especially as we just don’t know if Obi...

No chance we would get £2.5 million for Barrett.

Re: Rival Watch

Potter gone to Brighton. Personally find that strange, he'd just began implementing his style on the Swans and they had a strong end to the season. All what happens now is Potter has to re-start his process but this time he's against Hazard and Sterling and co rather than Garath McCleary and John S...

Re: Rival Watch

Dunno, they seemed to love him at Swansea, but I didn’t think they did especially well considering they still had a core of PL players like Fer and VD Hoorn And maybe they were better elsewhere, but they were dull as anything to watch at the Madejski Swansea lost something like 16 members of their ...

Re: Rumour - Danny Loader

I find it tedious (and a tad-bit insulting) that valid points from ‘intermediates’ are ignored, yet a ‘big-hitter’ says the same/copies it, and it is ‘headline news’ But I’m just “over-sensitive” to quote a big-hitter or two  @ me  What’s up babes? Lol @ anyone on here being a “big hitter”.

Re: Rumour - Danny Loader

If 15 million is the price being thrown around. Though I like the kid we can keep rinhomota, buy Oliveira, and have a try at signing Martinez and Baker. (Or 2 players similar and a cb) At the end of the day loader single handedly will not push us up the table but using the money on 3 signings like ...

Re: 18/19 End of Season Awards

Pretty sure Rinomhota is predominantly right footed but is comfortable with both feet. Think other goals that could have made the cut are Kelly's vs Bristol, Bacuna's vs West Brom and Meite's first against Ipswich. We didn't really have any standout strikes, but lots of "nice strikes". Wo...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Our average gate appears to have been 14,991 for 2018/19. This is by some distance our lowest average attendance at Championship level since we moved to the Madejski.

Re: Next Season's Squad.

Quote Players too good /would be silly to move on Chris Gunter - experienced and dependable back up - should not sell Garath McCleary - experienced and dependable back up - should not sell These would be at the top of my sell list, not because I don't like them but they are on very good wages and n...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Hmm, do I pay £375 to renew in the Lower West of save £76 and join club 1871 for £299? Not sure the family/Eamon Dolan stand should be more than the Club 1871 area, Isn't the view is about the same but the opposite end? You get your own seat though - south stand is unreserved. Also, you will have t...

And of course "Lofty" shouting out "England B" whenever Dave Meeson touched the ball-his voice could easily be heard as far away as under the clock. Yes, I remember Lofty well, but was not the "England B" shout several years earlier than that? I seem to recall that it ...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

How anyone can be bored to death by City defies belief. Yes they pass it around at the back but it is always done with a purpose, changing the shape of the opposition before trying to open up space and movement. Honestly it’s a bit weird and must be born from an irrational dislike. They are a terri...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Our pricing is and has been incredible. They could put it up 20% and it would still represent comparatively good value. Yes, we can criticise the owners / management for much in the last 15 years, but we ticket pricing is not one of those areas. Arguably the best value consistently in the country. ...
