Re: Nations League & Friendlies

In December we will have the draw for the Euros. There will be ten groups with 5 or 6 teams in each group. The top 2 in each group will qualify for the finals. Seeding for the draw will be based on Nations League performance. The ten top seeds for the draw will come from the ten best performing tea...

Re: Rumour - Phil Parkinson

But who has that would be available? . Well to use Horse Racing parlance, Parkinson is 'Exposed' - he's had plenty of experience around this level and his limit is well known. If you want to replace Clement, which I dont particularly (not yet) you could choose somebody who is 'unexposed' if you can...

Re: Rumour - Phil Parkinson

So quick to start name calling. I've generally got on well with you on here but I'm starting to see why no one likes you. Why is everyone so aggressive on here? Name calling, passive aggressive 'wow' comments. I just don't get it. It seems no one has the ability to respect someone else's opinion. I...

Yep Ezatolahi out for two or three weeks. Baldock may be available but Bodvarsson isn’t back in training so I can’t see him being available.

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Not sure about this golden generation stuff. The Euros 2016 were superb but the failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup Finals was a blow. Only taking one point off Ireland in the two qualifiers was simply not good enough. We should have topped the group in all honesty. All those draws and failur...

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Not really a shame at all, he's Welsh and should play for Wales. For the record, I believe England did get in touch with him and see if there was a chance he'd play for England but he, rightly, said he was Welsh and would want to play for Wales. Pretty sure most Welsh fans would say they've already...

Harry Wilson looks like he's going to be a major player, shame Wales got to him before England did really. Not really a shame at all, he's Welsh and should play for Wales. Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Giggs got his team selection spot on tonight. That’s a very encouraging performance considering no Bale, no Ramsey, no Ampadu and no Mepham. We really should have won by three but it’s game on v Denmark next month. Got our tickets and really looking forward to it.

I really wouldn’t want Roy Keane anywhere near our club. Horrible piece of work. Sorry Seth.

Re: Rumour - Phil Parkinson

He has done a great job at Bolton with absolutely no funds. Would be happy for him to become our new manager and he would certainly have a greater connection with the fan base than either Stam or Clement.

He has to be dropped. Bring in Dummett and switch him to right back. Failing that play Connor Roberts. Gunter has had his time.

Anyone know if Bod and Eza are actually away with their international teams btw? Think Gunter and Yiadom are

If he is doing a good job now I dread to think how few points we would have if he was doing a bad job.

The worst thing is that I literally have no memory of that game or that performance. Looks pretty good from here! We really screwed up that season didn't we? Just 26 points from the last 20 games turned what should have been a comfortable promotion into a play off nightmare. so, the home leg of the...

Ian, do you believe there isn’t a manager out there that couldn’t do better than Clement? I do share your reservations about Gourlay not making the right appointment though. I just don’t think Clement is learning from his mistakes. I think there are very few who are available and / or within our ca...

I wonder what Howe and Madejski think of all of this? They cannot be happy or comfortable with what is going on.

Re: Will going down be a bad thing? poll added.

It’s football, relegations, promotions and mediocre happens. The real question should be, in (this) modern-day game would doing a Hull, Swansea or Wolves still be possible? The first two being a season away from virtual extinction, yet have graced the Prem, the latter having sunk to the lowest of l...
