Re: RUMOUR - Jordan Hugill

The Cap Jordan Hugill understood to have made transfer request at Preston. Could a potential move to Reading be back on?

According to Sky, he has submitted a transfer request. Wolves and Reading are interested.

Re: EFL Cup third-round draw will take place in Beijing at 04:15 BST on Thursday

eleventh earl of mar Think you will find that 'traditionally' the 3rd round draw of the FA Cup was at lunchtime on the Monday after the 2nd round.

The draw used to be at 5pm on the Saturday of Round 2. I can remember leaving Elm Park at FT and hearing the draw on my pocket radio before arriving back at Reading Station!

Re: Team with most ex Reading players at one time?

I am sure that Aldersh*t must have had a few ex-Reading in any given line-up. Hmmm. Can only think of Wayne W-a-n-k-l-y-n, (to the Mods and youth on here, yes that was his real name.! Google it!!!), Tommy Youlden and Paul Bennett going from us to them. With Glenn Burville going the other way ( a bi...

Re: BFTG - Norwich home

Terrible decision making by the ref. If we didn't score from the penalty there would have been a meltdown about the disallowed goal Really? If so it would simply show how silly some people are. He'd already blown his whistle so it wasn't a 'disallowed' goal, it wasn't even a goal. You can't score w...

Re: Man Utd (A)

Bit cynical that on the pricing. RFC could easily have left it at £45 and blamed Utd. The commitment to the prices for the replay if needed (and certainly not an impossibility) also suggests they are not behind the high ticket prices. They could charge double the £20 quoted and still sell out Not s...

Re: MATCHWATCH: Portsmouth (A) - EFL Trophy

Annoying as a win would definitely have put us through to the Last 32 The other game in our group is currently 0-0 at Bristol Rovers, however Yeovil are down to 10 men Apart from the Peace Cup and other possible pre-season tournaments, is this the first time we've ever competed in a round-robin pha...

Re: Back from the game - Palace

I thought we looked sloppy at times and off the pace. We needed big performances all round, and only got them from a handful of players. It wasn't a matter of Palace performing particularly well, but we didn't really do much to try to win the game. Soft penalty, the inevitable second to rub salt in...

Re: Back from the game - Palace

It's been a long time since I've been that angry at the football. First thing is first it was a fair result, make no mistake Palace deserved to win. Al-Habsi made so many incredible saves and they had a tonne of chances and opportunities which should have seen the game dead and buried at half time....

What has this lad done to inspire such devotion from our fans? Something about Czech footballers who try little flicks that don't come off that sends you lot weak at the knees. He is missing chance after chance, week after week, despite so many saying "put him through and provide him with chan...

Re: Something wrong at the club?

Early season form was hardly impressive - it took us 5 games to get our first win! There is something seriously wrong with our club. It has completely lost its way and, gradually, it is losing its fanbase. People are simply losing interest. The last two seasons have been simply awful. Sometimes I si...
