Re: Rival Watch

No they're not. Maggenis and Ameobi are shit, Hobbs is an injury waiting to happen and Vela is no better than Kelly.

I'll give you Beevers though, he's better than McShane.

Re: Clement's week on a beach in Dubai last week

Might depend on your operator. I don't, unless I walk out of the stadium through the smokers and hang around in the rain. Irrelevant anyway - nobody knows what reasons people might have for not going to games. So whether he's lucky with his phone-operator, or is posting from his sofa makes no diffe...

Jesus wept that was utterly abysmal. I assume none of you actually went to the game?! RTG MUCH! We may as well throw in the towel now and welcome the might of Scunthorpe, Lincoln and Accrington to the Mad Stad next season. Gomes OUT!!!! Prick   just ruffling some feathers me old mukka! ...

Slightly further afield but North Ferriby United were wound up yesterday.

FA Trophy winners 3 years ago and in Conference National 2 seasons ago but were 19 points adrift at the bottom of the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

Champions League could shape up like 2008 where all 4 English clubs reached the quarter finals and every one bar the winner was knocked out by another English club.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

I think any goal where a player has executed his decision excellently is not luck. He decided to shoot and pulled it off perfectly, if he hadn't it wouldn't have gone in. It would have been lucky if say, it had brushed off a defenders toe deflecting the ball enough to take out of the keepers reach ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

He's just deflecting attention away from the fact the fans want him gone and they blame him for losing the game by making shit substitutions when they were 2-1 up and in control of the game. From the few comments I've seen, Wigan fans seem to blame the second game on them falling asleep from the dro...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Wigan fans seem to think we were overphysical although they're more intent on slagging off Paul Cook for making shite substitutions to really slag us off.

23rd on form but their last 6 fixtures have been Bristol City (A), West Brom (H), Middlesbrough (A), Leeds (H), Stoke (H) and Brentford (A). That's 4 of the current top 7 and an away local derby. Not the easiest run of fixtures. They are by no means safe given the upcoming run of fixtures but They g...

Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

Lets not be counting our chickens just yet but for me, the biggest improvement is that I see players really wanting to play for the manager and the manager investing emotionally in the club and giving everyone a lift. It's just very good man management and something we've not really seen since Brian...

That's 5 points nicked with last minute and injury time goals against relegation rivals in a week.

That's an absolute confidence wrecker to be on the end of and some spirit being shown by us, something we've been missing for nigh on 2 years.

I remember saying at the time that anything over £3m was too much and £2m was more realistic.
