Re: Sunderland Crap

I've been to Sunderland twice. First time (a 2-0 loss) I was spat at and had stones thrown at me on the way back to the car. The second time (a 2-1 win), a full 8 hours after the match I was threatened by some Sunderland fans at a petrol station on the he A19 because "you may have beat us on th...

Re: Summer Ins and Outs

It's a similar story to 2006 where players like Jonny Hayes were left behind by the rapid strides forward made by the first team. He's the perfect example really, drops down the leagues but is now at his peak and could be playing Champions League football next season. Being released isn't the end of...

And to be fair, he's got a point about the posh jibe because one's sited on a city farm and the other's in the grounds of a stately home.

24. Stadium of Light, Sunderland The Stadium of Light, home to the infamous Weirside Whine, the sound of thousands of over expectant home fans sucking the life out their team although in the Championship, the Weirside Whine is dampened by the sound of 20,000 empty seats. Sunderland's sole redeeming ...

FourFourTwo is just an unashamedly piss poor rag.

Who shall we put on the cover this month? Messi, Ronaldo or Messi and Ronaldo?

FourFourTwo, brought to you by Nivea For Men, the Tim Lovejoy of football magazines.

Don't see the point. At his age, we'll be buying someone to replace him next summer.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Kuhl never had an "attitude problem". The only thing he said that he'd been ravaged by injuries and became somewhat disillusioned with the game at times even at one stage contemplating giving it up completely to pursue other career interests. This sounds much more plausible than him trans...

Nice highlights reel where the clips mostly cut out before we see the cross spooned into the car park and some nice "forward's" tackles thrown in for the giggles. Reminds me of Michael Gilkes and there can be no higher praise than that.

He's more a winger/attacking midfielder isn't he?

Didn't realise he was 32.

Re: Players you'd like us to sign thread

Here is some footage of Keno. He looks good. Someone pass it on to Brian Tevreden please. Let's get Keno on board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxxP6a1rDJY Only watched the first minute. You'd never get that kind of time and space in the Championship. He'd be another Piazon - next. That footage ...

Far too early to speculate but my expectation at this stage is top half. That may change depending on who comes and goes and how the other 23 clubs shape up.

Re: How are you getting to Wembley?

I drove to High Wycombe station and got the train to Wembley. The 20 minute direct train was bursting to capacity so we too the next one which was a 30 minute stopping service. Car park £5, Train fare under £10, not bad - saved us a few £ and was a lot more straight forward. Defiantly an option for...

Did the Bootle to Reading bit today by car. Was thinking of Readin-Paddington-Marylebone-Wembley Stadium but with the kids in tow have decided to drive to Wycombe and train it from there to Wembley Stadium. You've copied my location. Why? Err, no I haven't. I've never seen you post anything remotel...

Re: I have been educated!

We need to mix up the pace of the passing. That's how you force errors from the defence but it requires better movement. All Huddersfield had to do on Monday was drop back, and let us pass it about in front of them until we played the loose pass. I think we all want to see a passing game but we nee...
