Re: Rival Watch

I'm just bemused that anyone at Cardiff thinks they even remotely have a leg to stand on.

Re: Rival Watch

If Cardiff hadn’t chartered a dodgy aircraft with a discredited pilot it could have all been so different Shame on them. Wasn't it the agent who chartered the plane rather than Cardiff? If it was, and unless he was also the agent contracted to Nantes, and further unless Nantes requested him to arra...

Re: Football Rel8d Gripes

Topical: fans (and now clubs apparently) immediately leaping to corruption over bad refereeing decisions, rather than the far simpler explanation of them just being useless. Buying those 36 left backs 2 summers ago is really coming back to bite Forest on the arse. Just a thought, are they in the sa...

Wasxdefinitely known about on here. He was occasionally referred to as Obi Wan. Mainly when Rahman was first choice and NGW's stock was rising as his gametime diminished.

Re: Ex Players

Highgate United, needing to win their final game 12-0 against Bewdley Town to secure a play off spot in the Midlands Premier Division (Step 5) do so with a last minute goal from 40 year old Aaron Brown. Slightly suss, although their opponents had amassed a staggering 5pts in their previous 33 games ...

Re: Rival Watch

Whether he was insured by them is irrelevant really, the pilot and plane weren't licenced or insured to make the flight, a flight arranged by Cardiff, or someone working on behalf of Cardiff.

My point was that they cut corners to get him to Wales sooner. They have zero grounds for any claim.

Re: Rival Watch

Not currently rivals, but what a bunch of twats. "Cardiff City is taking legal action against FC Nantes, seeking €120.2 million following a study suggesting they had a 54.2% chance of avoiding relegation with Emiliano Sala. They plan to submit an invoice of €120.2m to the French ...

It would be a happy by product of losing but I want us to end this of all seasons on a high, particularly at home.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Would caveat that with Terry the Taxis tenure The season actually went ok until about Xmas, and then he left about a month before the end of the season. So it was only really two months of shit with him. One of the last matches I went to before moving up to Leeds was the 6-0 thrashing we got away a...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Having grown up watching League 1 football, it doesn't bother me. It's the nervous excitement on the morning of matchday, it's the anticipation of a hard fought game that gets me interested. This is the first season in years where I've got that Even in the Premiership, I didn't give a shit about who...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

To be honest, I remember coming away from the home game against Fulham in 2006/07, a scrappy 1-0 win and thinking "I've just watched the future and it's oxf*rd turgid". That's the date it dawned on me that the Premier League ain't the be all and end all. The journey there was more fun tha...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Rangers draw 0-0 in their re-arranged fixture with Dundee. Their reaction to the original postponement is the point at which they lost it mentally IMO. They've now got to go to Celtic Park and win to really have a chance of lifting the title. They haven't won there for 5 years and only once since 20...

Re: The Magic Number Thread

I'd say the magic number is still 1. It's not the same as being mathematically safe and obviously it will drop to zero tomorrow.
