Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

Don't know how it's hypocritical to want away but still want to do your best whilst still here. I'd be more pissed off if he said I want away and I can't be arsed.

Lets judge him on his performances.

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

When he left Leicester, they were the reigning Premier League champions and wanted to farm him out on loan deals in the Championship. At the time he felt his career was best served by moving permenantly and establishing himself that way. He quite reasonable outlined his position to Leicester fans on...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

The assumption that the Chinese owners can only speak Mandarin makes that my favourite post of the day I think Oh, come on, it's not like one of them has British citizenship, was married to an Englishman, lived in Croydon for the past 25 years and 6 years ago was featured in a Daily Mail article ab...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

The tone is fairly similar to some of the twitter exchanges he had with Leicester fans before he came here. Fairly open, honest and respectful about his intentions. I think also, after some of the criticism thrown their way, it's good to see the owners get personally involved with this. I think he's...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

Well that save shut me up Doesn't really work like that. His howler gave them confidence and changed the course of the game. He doesn't make that error we don't go on to lose from there. He is completely at fault for this result IMO. I don't disagree, as you say, its a momentum shifter. He has his ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

You could accept the odd howler from someone like Hahnemann or Al Habsi because they had the ability to single handedly keep us in games. You don't get that feeling with Mannone.

Re: Club up for sale again?

I wouldn't buy Reading for love nor money.

10 years ago we were a well run club with bags of potential. We're now an underachieving club that's been run shambolically for 6 years.

It's going to need 10 years of stable ownership to sort us out.

"Quality" reporting that makes Courtney Friday look like Paul Foot.

What he's done there is take a nothing Tweet and give it even less substance.

Re: Summer Transfers

I liked Norwood but it was more for the anticipation of him doing something good rather than the reality of it. Wasn't gutted when he left. My over riding memory is that for every 30yd worldie, there was about 500 shit set pieces and him desperately needing a midfield partner to do the donkey work f...

Re: John Terry?

Apart from the hundred other reasons for this being a shit idea, anyone who refuses to play against his old club is a colossal melt. Yes The time to have done it, assuming we wanted to, was maybe before/instead of signing O'Shea. The time to have done it would have been the day after Hell freezes ov...

Re: If McDermott hadn't been sacked (the 2nd time)

I'd agree completely that he shouldnt have been sacked the first time round, that was Anton playing at football club owners and not having a clue. If we'd cut sensible contracts with the expensive flops in the first place, stuck with Brian and not saddled ourselves with dumbass marquee signings like...

Re: If McDermott hadn't been sacked (the 2nd time)

So I should cut him some slack because he "gave up on the season too easily"? What utter revisionist nonsense. Yes Clarke fcuked it up with the whole Fulham nonsense destabilising the squad but this was a squad that entered October 3rd in the table so there was no lack of ability on the pl...

Re: If McDermott hadn't been sacked (the 2nd time)

With respect, people seem to forget how mind shreddingly awful we were in McDermott's second spell. Slightly bemused by the suggestion that in one transfer window, he could have arrested the decline that had failed to arrest in 6 months managing the team. The club is struggling to climb out of a spi...

Re: The Local Journo Thread

Courtney Friday writing one of the all time embarrassing Tweets about Joey Van Den Berg. He liked Joey because he had a "short back and sides" haircut and because he "carried a Nivea bag". Your constant girl bitching is what’s become embarrassing. Give it a rest will you. He’s j...

Going for what? Bankruptcy?

I'll give it 10 games before the manager complains the players can't play his system and he'll be gone by Christmas and we can all play Leeds Next Manager Bingo again.

Re: RUMOUR - Sam Walker

My thinking about playing at a decent level is less about ability and more about the pressure of playing in front of larger crowds. With no disrespect to Basingstoke or Hungerford Town, it's not the same.
