Re: What points will we finish on and position

Wearing Rose Tinted Glasses - We're not mathematically out of winning the title - If we win all our remaining games that will put us on 77 points, which admittedly looks a little low for a title winning team but other results could go our way. Wearing Shot Tinted Glasses - We're on 23 points now, w...

I thought the ladies were included as the OP didn't stipulate.
Fair point, I suppose none of them qualified for the poll.

While on the topic of Blackman and a seemingly ridiculous fee, worth remembering this was allegedly going on at Derby at the time... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-5549987/Derby-County-sue-former-chief-executive-Sam-Rush-7m.html Interesting article, particularly the part about...

Based on this evidence, maybe we can recycle the chant for our current strike force?

BBC Berks - Portuguese striker to join in next 24 hours

BBC Berks News & Sport about 15 mins ago said we're expected to sign a Portuguese striker in the next 24 hours (or was it 48 hours)..... I was negotiating a tricky roundabout at the time so didn't catch the players name unfortunate, so there may already be a thread on this same person.

Re: 20 Years Ago Today (16/1/99).........

Mark McKeever. Whatever happened to him? Remember he was a sterling little player on loan for us Mark never really made it in league football (just about 60 apps for a handful of clubs across 7 years) and drifted down to play for, mainly, Weston-Super-Mare. He only ever managed 2 league goals, both...

Re: Is Kelly off?

Potential is there, he's good on the ball and has a wicked shot, but is far to inconsistent and lightweight. however, with a move he will probably prove us all wrong lol. Personally think he would make a good first division player at a good footballing side, Luton, Wycombe, Portsmouth etc.. As for ...

Re: Stadium screens

I have contacted the club regarding this issue as there are quite a few people in our block who can't read it properly. I will let you know if I get a response and what the response is. If the club have anything about them they will reply in really tiny, unreadable text. Or braille. or maybe put yo...

Re: CONFIMRED José Gomes

Thought Saturdays subs were interesting. Would have expected more defensive ones to secure the points. Glad he didn't - the most crowd-pleasing and positive way to secure the points against 10 men is to get more goals. Considering we were relegated on a goal difference not so long ago, the more goa...

Re: Stadium screens

There was talk while Gourlay was CEO of removing the screen and putting seats in its place which is a tiny increase in capacity as the original seats were squeezed in elsewhere around the back rows, and then two knew screens fitted to the front of the Dolan and South stands with sponsor panels eith...

Just had a browse down the list, which was in a seemingly random order (why not make it alphabetical?)..... No win for me

I did spot the name of Andy Murray, one to add to our celebrity fans wikipedia page :?:
