Re: Saturday

Thoughts on the game? Will your lot bother turning up? You'll win. You always do against us. And we've got injuries (loads) and we're awaiting a decent manager for a change, but no-one's told the team, who have decamped to Butlins en masse with their trouser legs rolled up and knotted hankies on th...

Re: Sheffield Wednesday v Reading - Official Predictions Thread

How is this decided? If it just the prediction furthest from the actual result? Well if Wednesday win, then the biggest Reading-win-prediciton would be the worst prediction and vice-versa if it's a draw, then it's the biggest win posted (could be 3-0 to Wednesday AND 3-0 to Reading (for example) GD...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Yes Evans not in the squad even though fit. I think he will go in the summer along with Edwards, Van Den Berg and Quinn. We need a clear out of central midfielders. Love to see Quinn back and fit Retirement announced end of season. That may change if he knew he had a chance of playing regular...

Re: Relegation Watch

I'm very impressed that the pearl grabbers who have realised that we'll probably be fine this year have already transferred their panic over to the next campaign, brilliant stuff Despite our struggles this season, I actually don't think we need wholesale changes (given we do stay up). We need a str...

Re: The Secret Footballer .... Again

presumably not one from Graeme Murty though, assuming Dave is the secret footballer. Next stage after TSF "coming out" would be identifying the players and coaches etc he is referring to. Can imagine some would not be too happy about it. I've enjoyed what I've read from the books/columns,...

Agreed, think it would be very entertaining. Maybe with a forward by Glen Little?

I have moderator rights - I can delete garbage but can not cut it off at it's source, I believe hobnob is the only Admin for this site. Shame. How does one get into bed with hobnob then? I still want to know if there's beer in the concourse And this ^ The two might be linked - try buying him beers.

Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

If fans want to sit in the South Stand and sing together, let them - watch the game instead of watching them. If you dislike them for whatever reason, then back the idea because while they're sat in the South Stand they're not sat next to you. It wasn't that long ago we had Rumblesticks and Clapper...

Re: Nicky Hammond Leaves WBA

Frankly I fear we are stuck with BT due to the impact of Rooney's Rule, (or whatever it's called these days). Doesn't that require you to interview x number of people from whatever minority group/groups it's aimed at? - It doesn't mean you can't get rid of someone who happens to belong to one of th...

Re: Parking at Costco

Doesn't the store close and lock the gates before the game finishes? - Maybe that's why people have been leaving the games earlier, to avoid being locked in? Costco sell tyres and other car stuff - Maybe, just maybe this is a way to work out what types of cars their registered members own so that th...

In my response to her post earlier I apologised for the only thing I did wrong which was name her in the first place. You know how the internet works, things don't just go away as long as you keep taking the bait. Best thing you can do is to move on from this - You have apologised, assuming you don...

Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

I think the stuff they’re doing with the south stand is a great idea. It’s okay not to like it but it’s also okay to like it, everyone is allowed an opinion on it but what’s not okay is saying stuff like ‘you’re looking to get in the pants of women behind the campaign’. You’re wrong. I can imagine ...

Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

If anyone dislikes this bunch of fans, for whatever reason, then you should still be supporting this as you win too because they are not sitting next to you in the East/West/North Stand. I don't like the megaphone, that's all - to be fair, they didn't use it much and it wasn't actually needed, It ju...

Re: Nicky Hammond Leaves WBA

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/43737853 BBC Sport - West Brom technical director Nick Hammond has left the club as part of the Baggies' plans to restructure. Hammond joined the club in April 2016 having previously been director of football at Reading, where he worked with manager Alan Pardew, wh...
