Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Weird episode this only in that at no point has he been 'sacked' or agreed to 'leave by mutual consent', or 'resigned'. It's just dragged on forever, Sarri is as good as confirmed on his way and now Conte has 'left the club'. I heard a story a while back that Chelsea were essentially looking into h...

Re: World Cup Punditry

Loved the beef between Ian Wright and Roy Keane the other night. Another tick in the box for ITV. Although Cesc's shirts were the highlight of the BBC coverage for me. This is the nail in the coffin evidence that our poster is Kes. Only he would be concerned about the shirt that somebody wears on T...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

It goes back to my point about Southgate being too loyal to the players in the starting XI.

RLC should have come on in that Semi-final. For Lingard or Alli.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Croatia (n) sponsored by two big badges

I'm pleased you've highlighted Henderson. He's not really a creative midfielder. He's more a defensive midfielder. We desperately need a player like Modric in our midfield, composed and will good ball retention. Henderson gives the ball away too many times against good opposition. This was a major ...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Is there actually going to be a new kit this year or are we keeping the same kit? Mannone put something on instagram the other day about doing a new kit release photoshoot with "coming soon" or something like that. Coming soon....it's only three weeks until the season starts and all the n...

£26.5m people watched the football on ITV last night. The biggest single channel audience in history. Another two horse race Gary Lineker finished 2nd. How is it a 2 horse race when there's only 1 runner? What was the viewing figures for the 1/4 final on the BBC for the England v Sweden game? 19.64...

Re: England’s World Cup Finals 2018

It's not underachieving, it's pretty much about on par with what we should expect from this side. Not getting to the semi once the draw fell as it did would've been underachieving, but not beating a pretty decent and experienced Croatia team is no disgrace. My main concern from yesterday is the num...
