Re: The Local Journo Thread

Whatever anyone thinks of the worth or otherwise of local reporting of RFC it should be acknowledged I think that its a tough time for that particular industry and through no fault of the people who work in it in the main.

Re: Nine Very Difficult Games - Predictions?

It's OK keep saying that X or Y player will be back after the international break but last time I heard most of the injury list were in intensive care on a life glug.

Does anyone have any information about whether any of the injured are actually in training?

Re: Reading FC Womens World

I've not seen a lot of the current women's team but has anyone else had the thought that someone like Fran Kirby (know she's gone) would probably be able to do a job for us up front as we're so short for the men's team? Views?

Re: BFTG Ipswich

That woman on the highlights during the celebration after the winning goal who whacks Yiadom so hard he nearly coughed up his pelvic bone probably needs to rein it in a bit.

Re: BFTG Ipswich

Over the 90 minutes. Did we look like a team that could compete agaiinst the better teams in the league? Not really no. The above summary is pretty accurate. On top first half, should have gone in two up really. Ipswich came out fired up and no surprise on the balance of play that they equalised. T...

If we could find out his middle name and include that (likely to be something like Juan), it may scan better.

Bacuna apparently scored a wonder goal for Villa against Cardiff in 2013. Someone at Cardiff must have a long memory.

Re: CONFIMRED - Nelson Oliveira

Just spoken to a Norwich supporting chum. He says if Oliveira was as good as he thought he was we'd have a hell of a player. But he isn't. He called out Grabban as awful when we got him, and says Oliveira has a similar attitude but is a bit better. Though not remotely fit. There's some sour grapes ...

Re: RUMOUR - Nelson Oliveira

Because the midfield is generally playing well under Gomes, we are creating plenty of opportunities but we don’t have a forward who’s capable of leading the line consistently. Meite is not a striker, Baldock can’t play on his own and Bod is good but injury prone and can be really frustrating in fro...

Re: RUMOUR - Nelson Oliveira

Mirror going with this again today, we are apparently "closing in". Will believe it when I see it. Think it will finally happen now, Gomes being a fellow countryman of Oliveria will help seal it. Just hope the player comes here determined to prove himself and prove Norwich wrong for letti...

Hound We're also a town that is geographically and culturally ideal for them.

Agree with that. They'll be all over long walks on the Ridgeway and the Anglo-Saxon skeleton in Reading Museum.

Re: New Manager

Baffling appointment, fear of the unknown. As ever results will be the determinant of the new manager's time here. I'll just throw Daniel Farke's name out there. He was Borussia Dortmund's second team manager when he came to Norwich. He could actually have been sacked shortly into his tenure as wel...
