Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

Isn't it about time the club said something publicly about the takeover situation. Can't believe people aren't threading up on this.

Tbf their report only says that was the case in the first half and we were a different side in the second.

Re: BFTS - Brighton (A)

From what I know a Reading fan was arrested and given the old pin him on the floor and sit on him treatment by OB. This didn't go down well with a group of about 30 of ours who had a bit of a ruckus with OB before being corralled and thrown back on a London train. Something like that anyway.

Re: BFTS - Brighton (A)

I thought the song that was played by Brighton before the teams came out was so tinpot. Yet they laugh at our club song which I thought was a bit silly I remember them playing that at the old Goldstone before the games we had with them in the 70s so not exactly tinpot. It's 'Sussex by the sea' is i...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

That push that wasn't given as a pen is bizarre. Clearly it was a pen. It was as if the Reading player just got fed up with playing properly and decided to push the Brentford player over. What the ref was thinking in not giving it I've got no idea. Maybe it was such a clear pen that the referee fou...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

100% agreed, just watching the highlights I thought it was well offside, I was surprised when I hit pause, its a brilliantly timed run. Looks offside from that shot It's not. Follow the line of the grass on the pitch from our player at the top down to the Brentford player. He's level. How do you kn...

Re: Charles Watts to Arsenal

Not been the best week for getReading and Mr Low with Yermas Dildo going viral, literally all over Twitter and FB on various football sites, unless they see all publicity as good publicity... I actually did a weeks work experience at the Reading Post (back in the paper days) Sportsdesk a few years ...

'Ipswich is a cracking town.' Lol. Take as you find mate. I know you Norfolk boys don't like them too much, not that it would make you biased of course :-) Yeah fair play, I was sort of jokingly reflecting that but I have been there more times that I would care to mention and it really doesn't have...

Re: Back from the game - Ipswich

ffs. If we do go up, we'll prolly struggle to domin8 the odd game next season too, and some of you will moan. Blimey Lux, wind it in a bit. I was surrounded by people frothing at the mouth and going blue in the face effing and blinding yesterday. Any criticism above implied or otherwise is merely a...

Re: Back from the game - Ipswich

As that was the first time I'd seen us in the flesh as it were this season, a comment on our passing game if I may. Clearly it works to the extent that we're third in the table so there's that to start with. But yesterday we were up against an Ipswich team low on confidence having been hammered at h...

Back from the game - Ipswich

Ipswich will count themselves unlucky not to have won that considering we scored from pretty much our only two chances. Dire first half in which we invited Ipswich onto us with the usual dodgy passing around at the back. This gave them confidence to have a go at us and they deserved to go in at half...

Folks it hasn't been mentioned yet but for those travelling there is some sort of poxy rail replacement in play between Liverpool st and Ipswich. And this right here is the problem. You get what you pay for.

Or rather you get what you don't pay for.
