Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by Michael Meaker

In its way, that was as depressing as the Norwich game. We played poorly but you have to start questioning some of the manager’s decisions now. Kelly was awful but why play him so high up the pitch. Since when has he been a striker? Why does he continually play Aluko? Why is Yiadom continually playe...

I would suggest simulating cardiopulmonary resuscitation would be more appropriate in the circumstances.

Yeah but you mentioned Nurses?

If you can't control your needs just because I said 'nurses,' I fear for your sexual health going forward.

Re: Protest

A defib demonstration, donate your match day ticket value to a defibrillator fund. It would benefit a good cause and cleary the whole club needs shocking back to life! Stay away for a day I like that. Although I think fans should still attend, wearing nurses (oooer) or surgical uniforms, and set up...

Re: Protest

So as fans are we just going to stay silent, not turn up at games and melt away? Or are we going to try and do something about the mess that is now Reading FC? Do we need another PANTS Day? Could we protest at the shambles with some humour and get some PR going? Anybody got any ideas? Let's storm t...

Re: BFTG - Norwich

Suspicion remains until proved otherwise that Clement is a bibs and cones man rather than a manager. I like him as well, seems rational and knowledgeable but sometimes you need a bit more than that in a motivational sense. Whether he has that remains to be seen.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

With the possible exceptions of Moore, Swift, Barrow, maybe Yiadom who was played out of position tonight, you could drop everyone else en masse and play the under 23s with the effect on the team being minimal. Why was Yiadom played at left back? He was uncomfortable there and Gunter has played ther...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

Someone else has mentioned it already but I thought it was quite telling how when there was an injury stoppage, I think in the second half, the Norwich players gathered together and geed each other up while ours stood miles apart, hands on hips, motionless. Something is wrong when that is happening....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

One of the worst Reading teams i’ve seen. Utterly inept in all departments. Have some pride in yourself ffs.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

Apparently he's not started the season that well but was their mainstay towards the back of last season and is a solid above average championship defender in reality. Think he will be replaced by a German player called Zimmerman who the Norwich fans quite like. Hernandez may be the biggest miss as h...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

Injury update from Norwich: Hernandez (hernia) out for a couple of weeks, Stiepermann (hip) a doubt for Reading, Marshall (ill) misses tomorrow, with McLean, Thompson and Hanley already known absentees.

Centre half Hanley a big miss for Norwich, Hernandez also, has been very good early season.

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

A few days ago the Norwich City journo on the Eastern Daily Press, who is well respected, did a piece assessing each championship club's start to the season in which he noted 'Reading's scatter-gun approach to transfers' as a factor affecting our poor start. It's an arguable point but maybe a correc...

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

Our new Sporting Director, Gianluca Nani, said: "I'm really proud to join and now be part of an historic club as glorious as Reading.'

Yes. That's someone who was never ankle-deep in the South Bank effluent gutter.

Re: My first rumour report. Things not well at Reading.

Those who know me will know I may talk my fair share of shit but one thing you'll vouch for is that I've never posted a rumour (I think!), let alone a dud one despite being in a position where I may know some stuff at times. I've sat on this bit of (alleged) info for a long time as I am not enjoyin...

What's the betting that if this fella is any good there will be a mass outbreak of Ayatollah head slapping in the East stand?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by 3 league wins in 2018

Blackburn would never have got back into that without the rash tackles by McShane. Annoying thing is I was sat there watching it in the first half thinking that McShane was a penalty waiting to happen. So it was. Midfield non existent. Meyler was recruited to provide protection was he not? Benched. ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

The love-in for Lampard was irritating but tbf to the man himself he acknowledged in his post match interview that Derby didn’t deserve to win and behaved respectfully otherwise.
