Re: New Manager

I'm very optimistic about Castro, I really doubt someone like Steve Bruce or Warburton or whoever could organize the dross we currently have at our disposal... we need creativity. Part of the reason we had success in Jaap's first season is that he took the league by surprise. Jesus fcuking Christ. ...

Re: New Manager

Indeed. We need someone who is able to organise and motivate. Not sure someone who speaks no English and has no experience in this league is what this shower of shit needs right now. (And don’t say Bielsa etc etc he’s supremely experienced, radical and Leeds we’re in a totally different position to...

Re: New Manager

Sounds like every other inexperienced 'coach' we've hired in recent years. So the same dull outcome if we go with him Would be nice to have a 'manager' Indeed. We need someone who is able to organise and motivate. Not sure someone who speaks no English and has no experience in this league is what t...

Re: BFTG Sheffield

You would think the other teams at the bottom are looking at us and Ipswich and saying they are gone, just one place to play for now.. A sudden upturn in form (anything can happen in this league) and we're out of it. What a moronic thing to even suggest anyone is 'gone'. Easy tiger. WR is just expr...

Re: BFTG Sheffield

I agree with all of this. This team has a number of unresolved structural issues highlighted in this and previous threads, poor fitness is one of them. The new manager needs to start again of that I’m now convinced. Maybe a young hungry coach with good ideas, clear way of playing with decent manager...

Re: BFTG Sheffield

Yes, Kitson pretty much nailed it. He correctly noted that most successful teams in the championship are aggressive, hard working, and utilise quick, short passing. None of the things that Reading do, he noted. Kitson is spot on. As is Bristol Royal this team has got less and less fit. They struggl...

Re: BFTG Sheffield

Second half in particular was pathetic and I just don’t think we are as fit as we should be. Some of ththe passing, awful, movement awful, and desire to win non existent. If we don’t get the right manager and team, we are going down, and sadly absolutely deserve to. Just saw on Sky points gained si...

He’s one of the most experienced and radical thinking coaches in world football.

So totally different to this bloke we’re talking about.

Re: New Manager

Initially thought Luis would be an interesting/exciting option but hearing that we he doesn't speak English, doesn't last more than two years at a club and we'll be stuck buying players represented by Kia J, now I'm not so keen. This deal sounds like a load of trouble waiting to happen. I’m all for...

Was sat within a few seats of him at Brentford earlier this season. Very animated, always taking notes. Celebrated the goals like he was Dennis Taylor at the Cruicble in 85.
