Re: New Manager

It's not that hard. The hard bit is keeping it fit , and it's not brilliant in any case. ...............Jaakkola Yiadom..Ilori..Moore..Obita ....Rinomhota..Ezatolahi Meite....Bacuna.......Baldock ............Bodvarsson Has to be close to agreeable. Has that lineup ever played? It was a question not...

I think Stam was too soft and our fitness suffered as a result. There needs to be a balance but a manager can’t be everyone’s mate.

Re: New Manager

Apparently all the players hated Clement, from what I’ve heard,

That said they hardly showered themselves in glory once he’d gone.

Re: New Manager

If Jokanovic isn't an option, I could come round to the idea of Parky tbh, thought Bolton were pretty good when they came to the Madejski earlier in the year. Everything that we weren't in terms of fitness and organisation Record is far from brilliant, but he is basically managing a div 1 team Who ...

Re: New Manager

What exactly is this bollix about never having managed in the Championship (about anybody)? Every single manager IN HISTORY who has eventually managed in the Championship , on arrival "had never managed in The Championship". EVERY SINGLE ONE Plus, a good manager should be able to work out...

Sherwood would be a gamble. For reasons I've outlined earlier.

Re: New Manager

Most of us would be happy to see Parkinson here but his Championship win ratio is just 19%, so although he kept Bolton up against the odds last season I’d be surprised if that record is really good enough to satisfy those who are quick to dismiss Sherwood. 22 wins from 116 games across 4 seasons at...

Re: New Manager

Slaviša Jokanović lasted 4 months in the same league, cracking job he did as well, yet so many fans what him to be appointed. Because of his Championship track record. How has Tim Sherwood done at Championship level? Fcuk me, you really are such a twat!  We need experience. He's managed ...

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

Oh um. Reading couls be without Iranian midfielder Saeid Ezatolahi for a further month due to the Asian Cup. The 22-year-old, who is on a season-long loan switch to Royals from Russian club FC Rostov, has been named in a provisional 35-man squad for the competition. National team boss Carlos...

Re: New Manager

Honestly think the club just need to stump up for Jokanovic. Fulham were in a similar position to us when he took over and he got them promoted. I think it would raise attendances from the off, the football would be better, the atmosphere around the club would improve. It's a no brainer for me. All...

Re: New Manager

Agreed if it was on the table and we could afford him then yes he would be top of my list. Our realistic targets due to our financial state are likely to be jokanovic as he has no buyout of his contract. Parky because Bolton are in a worse financial state than us or a lower league manager. I have a...

Re: New Manager

Harry went to Brum, I know it wasn't successful but no-one saw that coming. Similar situation. I think the wages would be the biggest stumbling block though. Not sams want to manage us. Sam Allardyce knows all he has to do is wait until January each season and then some desperate club in the Premie...
