Re: BFTG Wednesday (a)

I don't think there is much point in pointing out everything we did wrong there. Midfield was dire. Swift looked like he was playing with an under 18s team around him but was equally ineffective. Everyone seemed afraid to take a shot. Ref was poor. Goals were all from sloppy defending. Bod sadly ha...

Re: BFTG Wednesday (a)

I’m with Leon on this. Given that some folk refer to a new series as a new “season” I just can’t wait for the start of the new football series in August. I look forward to receiving the usual  or :| PS I like NCS too. I think that a "season" refers to a run of episodes taking place ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by c'mon URZ

I`m saying we have players that are not good at this level. a fragile defence that Liam Moore tries hard to hold together on his own, christ his market value has dropped through the floor hasn`t it? put a red shirt on Gunter and we would be midtable. LB has been a huge problem all season without Ob...

Re: Building for next season

Heh, with that said, not sure I'm entirely convinced Clement doesn't at least have a little dirt on his hands right now. I mean, are we saying there are no managers out there that could have done any better with this lot? Not sure I buy that. But hey, we should prolly steer clear of those waters at...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by c'mon URZ

What happens if.....as I predict....Clement is only a slight upgrade on Stam, and we are looking for another manager in January. That plan will surely be in tatters? Long term plans always seem a bad idea....and scenario us always change. No one can seriously blame Clement for anything that is happ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by c'mon URZ

Performance-wise, we really haven't had that much of a 'managerial bounce' under Clement, which worries me... 100% agree. Very little has changed. The only major thing being we don't know what the tactics will be when we inevitably lose. Marginal improvement but not yet convinced that Clement has g...

What reasons?

Because I hate Fulham and CountryRoyal worships me.

The last thing these jokers need is another formation to not understand and fcuk up the game.

Re: Building for next season

How about we try and have an injury free season too?? Dont think once this season we have fielded Obita with Swift and Kelly on the same starting 11. Failures of this year could be largely down the inconsistent squads, formations and injuries. By next season Clement should know his preferred format...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sunderland (h) sponsored by more than 1 shot on target please boys

Sunderland have picked up a few injury concerns after last night’s games. Jake Clarke-Salter, John O’Shea, Adam Mathews, Ashley Fletcher, Paddy McNair and Lynden Gooch all face fitness tests before Saturday. Well lets all hope and pray John O'Shea is passed fit then. John O’Shea is out of the Readi...

Re: Relegation Watch

We are not safe. I remember under Branfoot we were “safe” and lost something like seven on the bounce and went into our final game against Chesterfield away heading for relegation. At half time we were two down and in the live table we were going down. We had a spectacular turnaround in the second ...

Re: Weekend Football

Utterly mammoth weekend for most leagues but pick of the bunch for me comes at Blundell Park, where Grimsby (21st) take on Barnet (23rd) in what is probably the last roll of the dice for the Bees but could very well all but secure safety for the Mariners. My money is on the home side who secured th...
