Re: Team for cardiff

We are so desperate for a midfield general that could get the team to develop a siege mentality

Re: Back from the ****

Had Bacuna not been stupid I think we could have got a draw today. When Richards went off after another frightened and frightening performance the change in defence meant we were all over the place. I was hoping we may have been able to build a defence around Elphick but the defence looked much wors...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Can’t see Joey or Edwards playing next season Swift/Bacuna/Kelly is prob our best combo but Bacuna’s stupidity has messed that up I’m not convinced Evans is any better than an ok fill in. He hasn’t really progressed and never seems to dominate a game Interesting to see Rinomhota was picked ahead of...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

I absolutely bloody loved that last 10-15 minutes - brilliant entertainment! Breathless end to end stuff - that’s the most I’ve felt a Reading game in a long time. Gunter, the legend, put in a wonderful cross on his wrong foot to set up the equaliser. Barrow, our deserved player of the season, then...

Re: CONFIMRED Paul Clement appointed as new Royals boss

Reading Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Clement as first team manager at Madejski Stadium. Re: New Manager Press Conference 12pm today

If you read what the Derby and Swansea supporters say about him I wonder if this is the right appointment. Boring, sideways passing, no plan B, uninspiring. At both clubs seems to have done well at the start and then things went wrong. Does this remind you of someone??

According to Tim Dellor

Said on radio this morning that he is hearing a rumour that something big is on the horizon (by the end of the week). He's not sure if its just a rumour but thinks it may be true. Any ideas!!

Re: Worst Team / Worst Manager ever

Now dropped to 20th!!! lol, at least we have goal difference on our side. Well done Jaap I say.............................. Why can't we give him garden leave until the end of the season. Bring in Mick & Ady to give back some of the belief and passion. We may just escape with the massive backi...

Re: Stam to be sacked?

The board obviously see Stam as the future and it'll take either him resigning or a likely plummet to Division 4 to get shot of him. Commendable in one way, and he does bring so much to the club in terms of his profile etc., but there comes a worrying point when the goodwill earned from last season...

Re: BFTG Wolves

Ok the train back to Brum. Zero attacking intent throughout. First half we tried to be compact and it worked to an extent but there was no drive or impetus to them hit quickly on the counter attack. Second half we clearly were holding for damage limitation but were not as defensively tight and Wolv...

Re: BFTG Wolves

Wasn't at the game so I'm not going to go all Ian Royal, but we have three options. Keep Jaap, close our eyes and hope for the best. Sack Jaap and put all our hopes in a caretaker type. Sack Jaap and go for a.long term replacement straight away, giving the new man time to look at the squad before t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wolverhampton Wanderers (a) sponsored by Sammy Chung

Its his job to ensure the players do what he wants. If they don't then its his failing either in communication or motivation. My view is that the players are scared of him and his assistant

Re: BFTG - Leeds

Anyone who was at Stevenage away know how long Jaakkola takes with goal kicks. Seems bizare he's played the last few games...why? What has Mannone done wrong all season? How about letting shots in that most good keepers would save? The save by Jakola in the second half would have been a goal with M...

Re: Message to Tim Dellor and Konathon Low

Doesn't really matter whether it's all or just a few fans (& I'm not saying it's my opinion either), it's clear that there's vocal group of fans unhappy with what Stam's doing. Dellor himself is pretty vocal on the team's and specific individuals' performances and he appears to soft-pedal those...

Re: Message to Tim Dellor and Konathon Low

I e-mailed Dellor about 2 seasons ago suggesting he could ask the Manager a question from the fans therefore distancing himself from any criticism of it. The questions would have to be asked and sorted before the game and no direct criticism of a player or staff. Never got a reply. Good point. I on...
