Re: Who still thinks Reading will avoid relegation...

We're certainly in a fight to stay up and things are looking bad. But currently we are the ones with the points in the board. Four teams have to overhaul us for us to go down. Even at our recent shittest we've matched points with Burton and Sunderland over the last six games. Hull and Barnsley have...

Re: The very latest in STAM OUT threads...with poll

Isn't it time the fans started to be a bit pragmatic. We are pretty sure Stam isn't going. We know that however we react Stam won't change anything. We also know what a disaster it would be if we got relegated. We need a bit of Dunkirk spirit and turn a defeat into victory. Lets just support the tea...

Re: The reason we're stuck with Stam

Having seen the posts from the weekend about Stam going, they all seem to be linked to the fact that the warm down got cancelled on Sunday and from there on in it seems to be Chinese whispers. I've thought about this a lot since last year when our form really started to dip and it looked like we ha...

Re: BFT Appalling mess at home

You say it is your first game "for around 2 months"...then you question if some fans really "support the club" ? Doesn't make sense. Been supporting the club for 35 years... put thousands of corporate ££ in (team sponsorship, youth sponsorship) and other fund raisers over the ye...

Re: BFT Appalling mess at home

The players don't want to play for him anymore... You cant say that on here, people wont like that sort of talk! Because it's patently bollocks. Did you see the celebration after our 2nd goal on Tuesday? Post disclaimer: Please do not get overly sensitive over my reply. It's okay to have your opini...

Re: BFT Appalling mess at home

Barrow is the only player who can hold his head up after that. Everyone else can f u ck off, including the fans who booed Blackett. Not really sure what else to say. Tired of opposition fans coming here and having a great time  I think you have to add Bacuna and Gunter who both had good games....

Re: The road from here....

I'm a number 6 with 55 years. Probably only missed about 7/8 games at home in that time despite living in the north for 3 years and on the south coast for 2 years. Ive also visited over 65 different grounds away from home. Despite this I don't remember ever feeling so depressed about our present sit...

Time to think outside the box

As seems likely that we will be unable to get any worthwhile signings in and our style is very unlikely to change its time to think outside the box. We have two less than impressive strikers but we can't change that. Our defence is generally ok. Our only opportunity seems to do something in midfield...

Does your mate live in Bournemouth and have a surname that is just about the most common of all Anglo-Saxon names? He does live in bournemouth but not sure about how common his surname is but it starts with a w No, my bloke's starts with an "S". Ah quite a coincidence Not sure from feedba...

Re: New winger + possible new striker

Dyer would be a step up from Popa,Beerens, McCleary (sadly) and Aluko (if he is a winger). Stockley has done well since moving away from Bournemouth and my mate is friendly with his dad so will try to find out if there is any substance to this. Thats strange as my mate is also a friend of His Dads'...

Re: New winger + possible new striker

We are closing to raiding Swansea's reserves for winger Dyer. Fee of about £350,000. Player in advanced talks. We have also scouted Exeter City's Jayden Stockley a few times. They spent 100k of the incoming Watkins to Brentford money, and will want a healthy return. Norwich and Birmingham also inte...

Re: BFTG Brentford

Having listened to Stams after match comments; 1. He clearly thinks we have a poor squad - he said as much 2. I think he believes he took a squad of no hopers last year and got them to the play-off final 3.He is so up his own backside that I think he thinks if we survive he has done a marvellous job...

This. TD wants us to win. He’s a Reading fan. So is Adie Williams.

They get a load of stick from dickheads who want impartial non emotional reporting.

Bollocks to that.

Re: BFTG - Stevenage

Fair play to them both for communicating, though still a big error on McShanes behalf first up Gunter has come out of this well. Prob the only one Sadly this is mainly the fault of the manager. It’s been allowed to turn very nasty very quickly and I can’t see a favourable outcome with him still in ...

Re: Could Stam be contracted to his current style of play?

Simple. Stop giving the ball to the centre halves. Give it to the wingers in our own half. They can use their pace to drive forward. As it it is we let the CH's take it to the halfway line by which time our forwards are compressed with little open space to run into. Remember how Kebe and Macanuff us...
