Re: Relegation Watch

[quote="Silver Fox"]No beef with Fulham at all,/quote] snap. OK we don't live nearby like Leon does, but there are far worse clubs/supporters than them. Fulham and Brentford are prolly my favourite other clubs in the division. It's not a local thing, 'cos I cannot stand Oxford, Swindon, QP...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Yep. They have been awful much of this season, and they must be haemorrhaging glory boy support to City and Liverpool. But they are still 20 ( twenty) points ahead of Arsenal.

I definitely prefer Southampton to BHA (although I do like Chris Hughton)

Re: Relegation Watch

always a bit nervous, until it's done and dusted. Even in 2006 I was sweating on Leeds catching us, right up until the end, even when we were 20+ points clear of them. Real fans will remember them losing their game in hand on us at home to Palace. Felt like I'd won the lottery.

Re: Relegation Watch

Bolton lose they are stuck on 39. Not a cat in hells chance they will beat wolves. So most points they can get is 45. One win from 4 will then see us safe because of goal difference. Of course Sunderland could go on a run, but that won’t happen. Hope that’s clear ie my logic. There's every chance t...

Re: Relegation Watch

Show your workings please Paul Would think both teams dropping 2 points > either grabbing 3 I want Barnsley to win though, and Bolton to pick up points in subsequent games. It'd be bloody marvellous to see Sunderland and Birmingham in the 3rd tier at the same time. Bolton lose they are stuck on 39....

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

ok, I'm sure there are lots of Fulham fans in Putney, but there must be even more Chelsea fans, surely, and they are far, far worse.

I have no problem with Fulham and Brentford tbh. Wish them well.

Re: Relegation Watch

another consideration is that pretty soon the top two will be settled and they might relax, ditto the likes of Fulham who could be guaranteed the play offs. That will affect how they play in their last game v Brum, for example (ditto Cardiff v us)

Re: Relegation Watch

Weds, Ipswich and Sunderland are all very winnable. lots of twists and turns to come I reckon. Sunderland will not be easy, their last two away results have been pretty impressive. OTOH, I am sticking a tenner on us to win at Fulham  We could do with Barnsley going on a bad run, obviously. O...

Re: BFTG Wolves

Do you have the names of the pubs, by any chance, please? Think there's two breweries in the city centre (Banks' and Marstons) - PAGING GREEN TO THREAD - so maybe a daytime return visit would be on. Can't argue with the friendliness comment - had a good chat with a couple of fans on the tram back. ...
