I'd be upset if I was him. How is it that fans in the ground were the last to know? Not professional enough. Why? What difference did the extra 15 minutes make to you? Ever thought they might have spent the time warning stewards, car park people, busses etc? Everyone suddenly leaving at 2.30 whilst...

I totally agree with Coppell. He's got it spot on. The £28million survival prize of the Prem is too huge a prize to risk with the injuries and distraction of a cup we will almost certainly never win. Coppell is a winner. A winner sets his targets and sticks by them. A loser faffs around and is sway...

Despite having slated Harper in the past I'm not too surprised as his performance at this level as most of us who slated him said he'd be mroe sutied to the Prem, and just isn't as good in scrappy lower leagues. Sidders - never much doubt. Murts - nto too much surprise, although we were never sure. ...

Steve Swales (sp?) was a decetn down to earth lad. When he had a great spell of performance we had a ncie chat where he played it down massively saying he was just doing his best and it was the whole team which was doing well. LOL he was a oxf*rd - punched me in Utopia once when he was off his face...

As one of the chantstarters of the old Southbank and of the East Stand during our rubbish days, I can say that the drummer has largely destroyed the spontaneity of chants and often competes by drowning out chants, or joins in and spoils chants, or joins in for a few moments thus hijacking chants, th...

Coppell is a scouser. Anti-scouse songs are not a great way to make the best manager in our history/ England to feel at home and want to sign again are they? God I wish people would lighten up! I really doubt Coppell is likely to take offence as I'm sure he recognises it as a traditional part of th...

Convey has been pretty miuch awful in every game he's played in the Prem. Hunt was one of our better players today and has been pretty good for us this season. Hunt so far has proven himself 200 times more than Convey has at this level. Convey, I hope, has potential though. Rubbish. *edit because I...

It's funny and deserves to be on the front page for people to read/ contribute to.

Certainly better than the doom and gloom threads (which I'm responsible for) which have drowned this out!

Good point. And not only corners (sorry I'm not attempting to hijack the thread) but it seemed anything in the final third was just pathetic. Corners are one example of how when we had advantageous positions up front we'd play poor balls, unnecessary passes and do our very best to mess it up. I lost...

The real disappointments were Watford and Blackburn. Yes I think this hitws the nail BANG on the head. Dirk I totally agree, and in retrospect I was thinking that too - Everton are a class Premiership side and today we were simply beaten by a better side really. But as Arch says the comments of man...
