Re: Eamonn Dolan RIP

Desperately sad, however a good life well-lived has been commemorated fittingly by the club, what a touch of class. It would be nice to think - in a similar way to how Frank Orton's death was part of the inspiration behind the success of 2005/06 - the whole club could unify behind the idea of a succ...

Re: Is this the end for Madejski?

LOL @ having a pop at Madejski for giving a straight answer to a straight question and also accusing him of spin. Yes, I am wholly unsurprised to see the usual mentalists queue up to have a pop at JM here. Those who are disrespectful of one of the most important positive influences in the entire lo...

Re: Is this the end for Madejski?

Madejski's comments about the trigger-happy nature of the shareholders was about the only thing of interest from the moribund press conference/interview snippets I have seen, particularly given how bewildered the new managerial incumbent came across as. We miss the transparency and honesty of our fo...

Re: What is the point in HRK

Comes across as a decent chap in that article, I don't really understand the h8 for him, I can think of individuals infinitely more deserving of grief for their part in the downturn over the past 3 years. Good luck at your next club, no doubt he'll go on to do better over the next year or 2 than RFC...

I have a useful equation for working out the correct answer to such conundrums:

Re: England - the future....

LOL @ social media and the print/broadcast media meltdown as England defeat a perfectly serviceable Portugal team by a catrostophically minimal 1-0 margin  These pre-tournament games are always a crock, just a trumped up training session in all honesty. Pre Italia '90 England due 1-1 with Tunis...

New RFC manager person specification

- Must have previous knowledge of managing in The Championship. A track record of success in that division would be desirable. - Must have good scouting linking links. - Ideally would have held some other backroom roles in order to present as a more rounded candidate. - Must have a track record of a...

Re: What have you done to express your feelings about the way the club is being run?

What I've done is wait until Lady Sasima is asleep and then poured a packet of crisps into her mouth. Then when she wakes up she has a mouthful of soggy crisps, leaving her completely flummoxed.

I have heard McDermott is being sacked today. I have also been told that it won't be Stam replacing him, he's already turned it down!

These owners are out of control aren't they :|
