Re: BFTG Sunderland

there magic you knowww aluko and modou barrowwwww

nice to see the team finally clicking, Cardiff will be a great test and Reading teams always seem to be up for games against Colin if we get 3 points in that I wouldn't rule out the play offs.

Re: BFTG Barnsley.

Not our best performance of the season, but first half we look assured at the back, were moving the ball quickly and general play was effective. Think JVDB has been crucial for us recently and has really filled Evans role which I think we have been missing with a fantastic range of passing and some ...

Re: Stams Tactics

I think Stam is getting closer to getting his tactics right, I don't necessarily see it as 5 at the back, I would say it starts as 4-3-3 and as the full backs push on Joey drops in to CB. What Reading are missing is someone to pick that ball up of of Joey when he gets it. Aluko often tries but is ma...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a) sponsored by 12 Parkinsons

I can't believe people aren't seeing improvements in performances, I'd say derby forest and wolves are probably 3 performances that were better than any last season. The more and more I read this forum the more I think about how clueless most people are. It's a tough league, hard games every week bu...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a) sponsored by 12 Parkinsons

People saying about Bolton being poor, I think any away point in the championship is good, at the moment it is our home form that is letting us down, and really has been the difference between this and last season. Not going to look how many home games we have lost but if you transfer just 3 of the...

Re: The one that worries me about January

In my 22 years watching Reading I would say Liam Moore is up there if not the best CB we've actually ever had - he's just so consistent it's ridiculous and I think we all forget how young he is. I could understand a move to the premier league as he would have a chance moving on in to the England set...

Re: BFTG - Ramming the Rams

There are some very fickle fans here! 2 wins in a row and its all good again I thought it would take at least 4 or 5 congrats to stam and the team though finally getting results for there good performances. For me Bacuna is the difference he is easily a premier league standard and we will do very we...

Re: BFTG - Nottingham Forest

Many thanks to all for your reports. All useful and interesting as usual. The same cannot be said for Stam's ridiculous comments post-match: On the result "It’s not about being relieved. In the last two games that we’ve played we haven’t had the results we wanted but in the majority of the gam...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by rotund lady auditions

Looking forward to this one - don't expect to see Liam Moore or obviously Illori start so I predict Mannone Gunter Blackett Mcshane Bacuna VDB Kelly Beerens Swift Aluko Kermy Predicting a 2-0 win 1 pen converted by Yann and then a goal from Aluko finally. Personally would like to see Popa in for Bee...

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

Don't understand the critics of Blackett he's solid defensively gets forward well and puts a great ball in the box - a lot of the time I think its a case of his teammates letting him down. By not being within 10 yards of where he passed the ball? not saying he doesn't make mistakes but he makes gre...

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

I also agree Gourlay wont have the patience but if Reading win tomorrow Stam buys himself more time and then that slightly easier run of games comes and lets say we win 5/6 and end up in about 10th all this will be forgotten about - but that's just the nature of Reading fans always been very fickle...

Re: BFTG - Middlesbrough

Terrible performance, Stam has totally lost his teams identity, there not keeping the ball anymore I can't even work out what they are doing. I still believe he is the right man to take us forward and his interview after the game on BBC Berks gave me the impression that he knows he isn't going to b...

Re: Mad Stad atmosphere rated 2nd worst in league

Reading never have and never will have a good atmosphere, fans are gimps and either old and grumpy, think there in green street, or just going to get p!ssed with there mates. Mind you id rather be one of those people than one of those sad little weirdos who live and breathe football like Leeds, I al...
