Re: Clement

thought Meyler would be the player that Eza is. Unfortunately not I really hope we have a guaranteed buy clause as part of his loan. Ezatolahi is looking like a classy player and is still young. Well there’s two reasons why we won’t keep him. Maybe we should make him feel at home? Do our next prese...

Re: Clement

I will still stand by my demand that I have had in place ever since Clarke oxf*rd up: we must must must get in the monument that is Nigel Pearson. He's wasting away in Belgium and would definitely come to us and instill some discipline. Did he also previously work with Aluko at Hull...? Come on Joh...

Re: Clement

I'm not saying he's a good manager and I'm not saying he's a poor manager, all I'm saying is the last time we appointed a former world class/ex Man Utd player as our manager we came 3rd.

Moore and Ilori certainly improved under Stam so maybe if we appointed Keane our CMs would improve.

Re: A Question on Footballers International Eligibility.

if your parents were born in a different country to you then you should have all countries you qualify for put on bits of paper and they have to pick one and that is that 'sorry Adnan, I know you qualify for Belgium but you are forever going to be playing for..........Albania!' Ireland might have e...

Re: A Question on Footballers International Eligibility.

I thought that too but everyone seems adamant that Grealish cannot play for Ireland even if he wants to. I can't figure out why not. It would come down to whether or not he had to formally switch nationalities in order to represent England U21s, I think. If he has, then he has used up his 'one time...

They played each other in 2014 and 2015

I didn't see either.

Re: A Question on Footballers International Eligibility.

**hijack** we did a thread years back on creating someone who has the most nations to choose from. Can we do it again? we got to quite a number I seem to remember. Them being born in Jersey gives them the choice of the 4 home nations. Where else can you be born which makes you eligible for more tha...

Re: A Question on Footballers International Eligibility.

I am a little confused at the moment about the Declan Rice affair. While speaking to a friend about it he informed me that if Rice has put a request to change loyalty to play for England, but never gets capped by England, he will be unavailable to play for Ireland again. Something about the laws st...

Re: ArsenaLOL

Think Arsenal and their current style of play proves beyond doubt Wenger should have gone a few years ago, he has held the club back. Seems Emery has let them off the lead and I reckon they'll be top 4 for sure. Still think Ramsey would be shite if it wasn't for Wenger. He would be another Jack Rod...

Re: BFTG West Brom

‘A good job’ is pushing it ‘A tough job not especially well’ is how I’d class it Anyone know if Bod and Eza are actually away with their international teams btw? Think Gunter and Yiadom are If he is doing a good job now I dread to think how few points we would have if he was doing a bad job. Probab...

Re: BFTG West Brom

Of course I wouldn't expect Meite and McNulty to start when our other options are fit but their failure to work together should have been noted by Clement by half time. Everyone focused on the positivity of our first half performance without noting the glaring issues. A good manager would have chan...

Re: BFTG West Brom

Barrow was not good when he was brought on but should have been brought on much sooner. Right, so you thought he should have come on sooner so he could have been worse sooner? Fold your account and go and post on the Yeovil Town forum instead. That's not really how football works.. he was subbed in...

Re: BFTG West Brom

This is why it's unfair to blame the manager when clearly the squad is total dross and not one combination of the players is the solution. Mannone was rightly dropped when he was but now he might be put back in. What's Clement to do when his keeper is watching crosses go over his head at 1-0 up awa...
