Re: Building for next season

I see the Long fan club is back. Your predictions aren't worth much snowy. I mean you said he was a ten a season man in the PL like it was a certainty and he's done it once, maybe twice. In how many seasons? Six? No ta. And Kanu can sod off an all. Remember when everyone was slaggin off the signing...

Re: Building for next season

How about we try and have an injury free season too?? Dont think once this season we have fielded Obita with Swift and Kelly on the same starting 11. Failures of this year could be largely down the inconsistent squads, formations and injuries. By next season Clement should know his preferred formati...

Re: Building for next season

Think many players will have point to prove next season.
Striker and a defensive mid must be a priority, get some energy into the middle. No point throwing names into the mix as if we are suggesting players surely everyone will be thinking the same.

Re: BFTG Fulham

Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Hope you're joking. He has shown moments of class this season. The Derby game being a particular highlight. Best midfielder since Sidwell is probably Williams, I don't think anyone was expecting his leaving to have as much impact as it has done. Agree, though you could argue...

Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

As I have said earlier, the idea is great. I cant see it as a permanent thing. However, if it jump starts the life back into the rest of the stadium then great. I feel that people are scared to be vocal and make noise, but maybe it can spur on others that it really doesn't matter. I remember it bein...

Re: Rival Watch

What made Neves' goal so great was his first touch, not sure he meant for it to pop up like it did but was an amazing strike. Everyone been creaming their pants over anything Wolves related or Santo related for months, however it comes with the territory these days of being comfortably top of the le...

Re: BFTG Fulham

football is a very simple game, and by changing the instructions to the defence it has allowed them to concentrate on defending, and ensuring the ball spends less time floating around the edge of our box, thus ensuring we concede fewer goals, which in turn means the goals we do score are now counti...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (a) sponsored by nothing to lose

We are coming into this with very little pressure or expectation, but i think that is when we have played our best this season. My god, neutral area for passive football fans, how dull is that for a professional club. As i have said, they are a very good playing side that clearly deserve the league ...

Re: Relegation Watch

Even though, I do believe we will be just ok and just avoid relegation. I also acknowledge that relegation is not out of the question. Relying on other teams losing is also very foolish.
The relegation battle is still on going, however we have the upper hand.

We can all hope that we get something out of this game.
Odds are stacked against us, however we have to cling on to the phrase - stranger things have happened. This is football and it keeps it exciting.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (a) sponsored by nothing to lose

TBH it is clearly a fishing trip by Fulham to get a reaction and more promotion for the club. Just seen they have got a bring 2 mates for £5 each to try and fill out the staduim...... a bit embarrassing considering the league position. Doesn't take much for the twitter warriors to get all ril...

Re: What is the point in Chris Martin?

So are we in agreement that I was right all along then? I will admit that so far he has been a massive disappointment - wouldn't really care about his attitude if he was scoring.........and rightly Bod should be in front of him in the pecking order. However he may have a point to prove against Fulh...

Re: What is the point in Chris Martin?

So frustrating to watch him play. I remember him being a total handful and letting our cbs know he was there and scoring goals just because he was in the right placew. I watch him now just going through the motions and making half hearted runs. Genuinely thought he would be a great addition, circums...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I fancy Fulham to do them in the playoff final. And I'll enjoy it happening when it does. oxf*rd Villa Woooah!! Anyone but Fulham to be promoted please. I'm completely indifferent to Fulham. They play some good stuff though and have been there or there abouts for a few years now. Villa think they'r...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Villa fans clearly have short memories. At the beginning of the season we battered them when they had 11 players. 2-1 flattered them, should've be 5-0. They were the worst championship side I've seen this season. What did they expect our team have zero confidence they are riding high, and our team ...

Re: Recreating Elm Park atmosphere

People these days are too happy to complain at almost anything therefore sucks out most joys of going to the match. Here are some of my observations of what people have complained about at the mad stad - that pie stinks, sit down, stop swearing, sit down, stop banging the chairs, get that flag out o...

Re: BFTG Villa

I guess that Clement is still trying to get to grips with his team. Away at Villa wasn't a particularly winnable game and it makes sense for him to try things out. He would have learnt a lot more about our team last night, how players react and their footballing brains. Could be a blessing in disgu...
