He's American/Norwegian living in Switzerland but at school in Bearwood. 6ft 3ins at 15 and a very confidant outgoing personality. Already played for the under18's.

Re: Who first took you to football?

My Grandad took me for the first time against Aldershot, when we biked from Farley Hill when I was 7. We subsequently got a lift to Elm Park with Len Crook who was the landlord of the Fox and Hounds in the village at the time, and later took over the Spread Eagle opposite the ground. When we played ...

Looks the image of Jordan Obita, but not as quick! Seemed ok though against Fallon who has lots of experience, and then went to right back for 2nd half and did good.

Re: Boot boys

All the Academy boys are allocated a range of jobs, not just cleaning players boots. Prized job is "tea boy" for making refreshments for management and coaches -- though pity the boy that had a smile on his face on a Monday if SSC had lost. Seriously it is one of the contributing factors a...

Anybody know what number he had at Wembley for Simod Cup. He played left back, but I seem to remember him in no 11?

Re: Royals sign Jordan Obita

who have we lost lately that we really wanted to sign? Devine went to Villa for loads of money, and the Korean boys He and Sic went to Valecienne because of work permit problems. apart from that Steve Shorey and Steve Birchmore together with Eamonn have landed all their targets. Much more to come fr...

Re: McMessiah's Tactics

Of real significance is the number of players whose performance has greatly improved under BMc -- Long, Mills, Bryn, Jem added to the astute signings of Grif and the Russian General. Add that to tactics that come from analysing the opposition rather than coaching manuals, and substitutions that have...

Re: John Fearn to Chelsea

Luke is Reserve physio, and Matt Hiron will step up from the Academy into his role, and a new Academy physio will be hired from the outside ( already done I think). So good bit of planning.

Re: Motivational management theory

Excellent post, that has captured most of what has gone wrong so far. If you add to it a load of management speak that means nothing, and hyperbole that is out of this world ( eg Alex Pearce is the next John Terry and then dropping him from the next SQUAD !) No wonder the team crumbles at the first ...

Re: On the pitch mentality and leadership

I believe that there is a key difference between mental toughness and leadership. Mental toughness on the field by the players is key, and it is true that we had few if any "warriors" (like god I say it Chris Morgan) in the team when the going got tough. Great when winning ala 106, but! Th...

Re: The Unruined Tommy Smith RUMOUR Thread

Back to Tommy Smith for a moment. This delay might have worked out rather well for us - there is absolutely no point in signing players we don't need, and I wonder whether Rodgers might now (4 weeks on from expressing his original intent) feel that, having seen Davies, Sigurdsson, Bignall, Henry, C...
