Reading 3 - Portsmouth 1

Kitson, Oster, Doyle for us.

Not sure who for Pompey, it won't matter as it will be too little too late.

I do agree that SC is just managing expectations. We might not be able to beat the top four with any regularity, but we have shown we can play with anyone else in the Prem. That is something to be proud of.

Price to pay I guess for the big time . In protest, I am going to turn up every other Saturday at 3pm with my season tic...

All fun to watch. It's really too bad that Bobby has been injured this year (lots of good clips of him in these vids), he was great last year. I would have liked to see what he could have done at full strength this year.

I was going to add that I wouldn't be holding my breath, but I thought someone would have a go at me for not being a loyal royal! Not all of us are down on the Soul Man. 8) All it really takes is a goal and some good form and people will go from hating him to loving him (or at least be willi...

Plastic and proud of it........

It's just another version of the age-old hobnob staple, "I'm a better fan than you because......" Don't get involved, just walk on by. Great post. We all support the same team, but is it too much to ask to support each other? I am way late to the 'Reading is the best damn football team in...

Re: Sonko is Superman.......

So anyone else wonder how the last few games would have gone with Sonko? Can't help but think we might have taken ManU if he was healthy. We have seen some good play from his replacements, but he was so solid back there. he wouldnt have played anyway I was wondering about that. He would have helped...

From Los Angeles......

There are not enough football fans to begin with in my circle of friends, but I work with a Villa fan and am friends with a Fullham supporter and both of them said they were impressed with Reading. (We just beat Villa so he was a little less enthusiastic) But the Fullham supporter, who watched it on...

Out of interest gents, any rumours on the Royals coming over pre-season? None, aside of course from those initiated and fomented by...ME! I'll keep you posted. I live about an hour east of Los Angeles Having lived in Los Angeles myself, "an hour east" could mean Ontario...or it cou...

Do I have the time translation right? E.T. = UK - 8 hours? So PT = UK - 11 hours? At least until daylight savings time anyway. Not even close! New York is 5 hours behind; West Coast is 3 hours behind that; West Coast is 8 hours behind the UK --one full third of the globe, wouldja believe? Oh, and c...

Don't you have a football pub that's Setanta-subscribed and open for bidness for early games? I live about an hour east of Los Angeles. The best football pubs are in Santa Monica, which is even further away from me. I don't mind watching on the computer, although I love it when I can see a game on ...

Oops! This is what happens when you try to get by on four hours sleep a night with a new baby. I was already planning to be up at 1am PT tonight kicking my feet up, feeding the little one and watching some footy. Do I have the time translation right? E.T. = UK - 8 hours? So PT = UK - 11 hours? At le...

Here it is....

Had a hard time finding this thread. Just had to find it to make sure I am ready for tomorrow's match.

So the game is at 15:00 UK which is 4:00AM ET Live? I don't have Setenta, so I will likely look to catch it live via P2P on the computer.
